"What about it?"
Irina averted her gaze from the gleaming eyes in the slowly growing dim light of the dark forest.
"What?What about it?"
The eyes lunged forward stopping nearly short of the scared girl, clutching her card.He twitched and sharpened his claws as he spoke.
"The 'what' here is that card you have belongs to Lady Camerin! That is what is what!"
Irina was startled silent, frozen still. The hybrid of beast and man looked at her curiously for a second, hoping for a reply.
"No response?You admit then?"
Silence.
"N-No..that's not..I didn't..."
Waking up from a bootlegged trance,Irina blinked a bit and shook her head, trying her hardest to answer. She had some courage in her,and that courage suddenly burned a spark through her. Then her answer came.
"Assuming you think I stole this card,I'll tell you,I had this card long before I knew who Camerin was! This card..floated to me when I fell down here."
The cat paused. He stroked a whisker with his dullest claws,as if in thought.
"A likely story.I'll belive you for now.Name's Jack by the way."
"Irina."
She slid the card back into her pocket as the tension seemed to calm.
In another place,a frantic rabbit raced everywhere loking for the girl whom he lost.
"Irina?Iriina-!"
Taylor called. The only returning noise was the patter of his own feet.He sighed, shook his head, and stopped. There was another patter that wasn't his own.
"Ooh?Who's this 'Irina' girl?"
Taylor's ears stood straight up.He knew this voice,he knew it well.

"Henry...."
