At the dawn of my life
I look up at the sky
I hear the birds chirping
Singing life as it is
A life full of sorrow and full of joy
A life full of missed opportunities
And too many taken
I see the red invading the sky
The orange flailing
The deep blue replaced by a soft pastel
A duck quacks flying trough the air
My feet hurting from crazy nights
A soft breeze on my face
Chasing the dark corners of my imagination

At the dawn of my life
I see the life as it purest form
Part darkness and part light
No dark thoughts are left untouched
The images filling my mind
At the dawn of my life, at the dawn of 20
