Meet Me

Jungkook combed his fingers through his brown locks, wearily releasing a heavy sigh. His math textbook lay in front of him along with a sheet of paper filled only with eraser marks. Tears formed in his eyes as he just couldn't seem to solve the problem in front of him but he quickly wiped them away. Instead, searching through the previous pages to find any hints to solving his Algebra II homework.

See, he had fallen asleep in class after going two days on caffeine and energy drinks. The days classes had taken a toll on him and he lost all of his remaining energy in the tortuous class which was widely despised. Math just wasn't his subject, hasn't been and never will be. He, while being focused and sleep deprived, only noticed a sheet of paper filled pristine notes of everything he missed after the culprit had left. Although he was grateful for them he was also confused. Jimin, his childhood friend, was kind but certainly did not pay attention in class and Yoongi, Jimin's crush, was a junior. Panic quickly overtook his conflict as he hurried to understand the notes to do his homework and eat his lunch.

Unbeknownst to Jungkook, the notorious bad boy sat tables away watching his panic stricken face with a pleasant smile.

"Taehyung-ah, you're staring again," an orange male teased the said boy. "Just go talk to him!" His friend's words failed to motivate him, only making him groan in frustration. "Hoseok-hyung, you don't understand. I'd only scare him away." Taehyung whined to his tight-knit group of friends, but they weren't having any of it after hearing excuses after excuses for months.

"Augh, Taehyung, you stare at him all day and you never shut up about him!" Namjoon, his friend and tutor, groaned. Before Taehyung could reply Namjoon's boyfriend quickly added to his statement "Yeah I even saw a wedding plan in your notebook for goodness sake." Taehyung lowered his flushed face as he couldn't deny any of the accusations. The harworking student just seemed to stand out to him since day one. He could never tear his eyes away the boys fluffy locks and his cherry red lips, get his mind off of the contrast between how he acts in class and his funny personality. It was clear to all of Taehyung's friends that he was in love with Jungkook.

Taehyung quickly finished his sandwich when he heard the first bell ring and gave one last glance to Jungkook before he left for class. The said boy was packing his items while drinking a vitamin pouch, satisfied with finishing half of his math homework before he even got home. Given the time to think, he wondered about who gave him the notes he so desperately needed as he walked to his next class. His mind ran over his classmates names but thought of none who owed him anything. The neat color coded notes in his hands was driving him nuts.

"Jungkookie~ Whatcha thinking so hard about?" A familiar grey haired boy chided before he jumped on his back. The boy, Jimin, glanced over Jungkook's shoulder and let out a gasp, "how'd you get TaeTae to lend you his notes?!" He gaped in awe at the loopy, colorful handwriting. It took a moment for Jungkook to process Jimin's words in his sleep deprived state.

"TaeTae?... wait you mean Kim Taehyung?! Oh no, oh no, do you think he knows? Oh no nO NO!" Jungkook couldn't seem to stop panicking as he realized that his crush had seen him in his worst state and even let him borrow his notes. The only moment he shared with the boy was when Taehyung snarled at his usual offenders who abruptly ended any connections he had with them after the incident. Nonetheless, he still fell for him and silently watched the blonde boy from afar. Often he would feel someone staring at him from Taehyung's direction but he was quick to brush it off at hopeless yearning.

Jungkook's worries continued into class as he mindlessly wrote his notes and ignored Jimin's relentless proddings. The shorter boy quickly got bored and began doodling in the corner of his notebook. By the time the class ended Jungkook had formulated a plan to return Taehyung's notes and Jimin had a field of flowers in his notebook.
