Chapter 12 // Coming in Hot

"You ready Pink?"
"Yeah."

Me and Agent Pink had broken into the Yakuza's base with the help of E's hacking and made our way to the boss' son. We had fake Yakuza tattoos and skimpy outfits, making us all the more convincing.

"Good morning Sir~" I smirked, sitting on his desk, "How are you today?"
"Better now." he started checking me out.
"That's good to hear." I ran my hands through my hair slowly, "We were told to come see you for the map. It's meeting day for the new.. recruits."
"Ah of course. It's a good thing we have a smart lady such as yourself to remind me." he grabbed a copy of the map and walked over to me. "Would you mind if I put eleven special numbers into your phone? For special business reasons of course.."
"Go right ahead~" I gave him my phone, to which he put his number in. We could use that to track him and contact him if needs be.
"Maybe the map will cost you an ever so small payment.."
"And what would that be~?" I asked standing back up.
"Perhaps we could talk about it over coffee.." he placed his hand on my ass with a smirk.
"Then let's go discuss~" I locked my arm with his as we walked out of the Yakuza building. Pink stayed in and gathered some intel with the help of E.

"Y'know I've actually been in need of a personal assistant if you're interested.."
"Is that so?"

All of a sudden, Budo hit him over the head with his elbow, knocking him out instantly.

"Next time you touch her I'll break your fucking dick." he clicked his knuckles.
"Budo!" I shouted angrily.
"What?"
"This is my mission! And I was actually doing well!"
"Aya he was trying to.. I didn't like him touching you that way."
"Well now he won't trust me! I can't complete the mission now!"
"Ayano I.."
"I just wanted to prove to you that I can do this. That's the only reason I agreed to do the stupid mission. I wanted to make you proud of me."
"Ayano you're the most badass partner I could have ever asked for! I'm always proud of you!"
"Y-You are?"
"Of course I am." he hugged me, "He's waking up. Do your thing Aya.. I know you can do it." he kissed me.
"Budo you didn't have to.."
"If you can play this off and still complete the mission there's more where that came from." he winked and went back into the dark alley.
"Hey? Are you okay?" I shook him.
"W-What happened?" he held his head, staring at my chest as I leaned over him.
"Some guy came and attacked us.. I scared him off but I couldn't shoot him down in time.."
"We should reschedule while I sort out my concussion.. here's the map." he handed it to me.
"I'll be in contact soon." I kissed him on the cheek.
"I'm glad to hear that."

I helped him up and he walked back to the HQ. Budo pulled me into the alley and kissed me passionately against the wall.

"You're actually amazing!" he smiled.
"I told you, you didn't have to do that.."
"I know." he kissed me once again. "I am never letting you do that again." he hugged me.
"Why?"
"It made me insanely jealous."
"Oh.. Really?"
"Duh!"

"Panther, Puma. There's an agent in the coffee shop. Pose as a couple on a date and identify them."
"Got it, E."

We went in holding hands and flirting which reminded me of when we first met. We ordered drinks and had a nice time, but nobody around seemed to be an enemy agent. All of a sudden we realised what E had done.

"You just want us to date, don't you?" Budo asked.
"Duh!" E shouted.
"Idiot." Budo hung up.
"I'm.. going to the bathroom."
"Aya, wait." he grabbed my hand. "Sit, please."
"What?" I sighed.
"You asked me hypothetically if you had a crush on me."
"Budo I told you I don't want to ta-"
"But you didn't ask hypothetically if I had a crush on you too."
"Then.. hypothetically.. if I had a crush on you and you liked me back.."

Budo lean forwards and kissed me sweetly.

"I'd probably marry you on the spot. Forget about stupid hypotheticals."
"You.."
"Of course I like you, stupid."
"Y-You do?" I smiled.
"I kissed you on the first day we met, of course I do."
"But that was your mission.."
"You didn't seriously fall for that did you? Why would my mission require you to be my girlfriend?"
"Wait so you.."
"Aya you're supposed to be smart."
"I.. I'm.. and you.."
"I love you Ayano."
"But I.. and.. does this mean you have to marry me?"
"Hm I suppose I did say that.." he smiled. "Would you be up for it if I asked?"
"Y-You're.. we actually.. I mean, of course."
"I'll keep that in mind.. Miss Aishi."
"Heh.." I was lost for words. I kinda missed him calling me that.
"It's been a while since I've called you that. Miss Aishi."
"Yeah.."
"I haven't made you uncomfortable have I?" he asked.
"N-No I'm just.. happy. I don't really know what to say.. and for the record I like the nicknames like Miss Aishi.."
"They'll be making a return then buttercup." he smiled.
"Cool.."
"Hey Aya? Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes! Si! Hai! Oui! I don't know any other languages but yes!"
