"Most species bare their teeth as a threat, as a display of aggression. It's a reminder that these clenched jaws can and will open your yielding throat. I want you to remember this the next time I smile."

We gazed up like astronomers, into the clear, night sky, dark as a blackout, making mental notes of twinkling stars, the big dipper, Milky Way, faint craters on the moon, watching as a shooting star passes, crossing the sky like a UFO.
I turned my head to look at Blake, only to find that he was already staring straight at me. A warm, fuzzy feeling erupted through my heart that made a smile lift my lips. He smiled back, it made my head spin and my heart to skip a beat (get outta here Olly).
"You look so beautiful," He whispered so quietly I almost missed it.
"Obviously."
A chuckle left his lips as he turned his head to look to the stars.
"Y'know," He began, his gaze never straying, "When I was younger, I used to dream about the moment I would meet my mate." A slight chuckle left his lips. "I hoped that she was from my pack and had the most beautiful brown eyes I had ever seen. She would be kind and overall... perfect." He turned to look at me again when he said, "And somehow you managed to exceed all of my dreams."
Not able to hold back, I turned on my side, grabbed his face with my hands and smashed my lips onto his. The kiss was fuelled by pent up passion, our lips moved fast and unrefined. I poured everything into it; all of my worries, fears and hopes and dreams. It was perfect. All my life I had never thought I'd be able to put my whole being into a relationship, it all seemed like so much work that could never be maintained, someone would always come out the other end hurt and broken beyond repair. But now It all seemed so simple, so easy that it comes natural. I know that some times will me harder than others. We'll fight. We'll cry and we'll make up.
"You're everything I need and more, Blake." I whispered against his lips. "You're everything I didn't even know I needed."
We laid together until the sun was beginning to rise over the horizon and the little critters were back out to start their day. The sun rose like a flower opening, gifting its petals unto the world. Amid the dancing raindrops was the blush of scarlet, the warmth of tangerine. Gazing toward the illuminated clouds, still beneath the ethereal glow, I felt at home in a way I never had before. We stared at the morning sky together. Mellow blues and pinks blurred together in a silver mist to create another gorgeous scene. Even when the world was drowning in grief and hardship, the sky remained beautiful. That was the one thing that had kept my hopes up—if the sky remained vivid and powerful, then so could I. Sunlight filled the sky, pure scattered light; its hue ambitiously illuminating each crevice of the land. Sparrows chirped an explicit background melody. With breath paused in my lungs, I wished time would halt. The trees shone as if they were wearing golden crowns and the vast sea was not able to absorb the bright sparks of the sun.The tides on the sea were racing among each other to reach the horizon from where the mighty godlike sun appeared. And though time continued, the emotions that flowed stilled my soul.
