The Yule Ball had come sooner than anyone had thought. Almost everyone who had a date —which was nearly everyone— was excited. Ron, on the other hand, was very nervous and upset about his dress robes.
What was once a beautiful burgundy dress robe, was now a mucky, gross, dress robe. It had definitely been a while since it was in fashion, which might play a role as to why it looked hideous. But, the fact that it looked like Voldemort had wiped his personality on the robes, Ron thought it was awful.
Ron looked in the mirror, trying to wrap his mind around the fact that he had to wear that at the Yule Ball. Harry stood in the room wearing his simple black and white dress robes.
"What are those!? What are those?!"
Harry, shocked that he had bought the wrong thing, looked down at his outfit. "My dress robes."
"Well, they're all right! No lace. No dodgy little collar." Ron said, his voice high-pitched.
"Well, I expect yours are more traditional." Harry tried to help, but even he knew they were hideous.
"Traditional?! They're ancient! I look like my Great Aunt Tessie!" Ron sniffed his outfit. "I smell like my Great Aunt Tessie. Murder me, Harry."

Autumn paced around the dormitory, waiting for Hermione. Autumn had no idea what she was going to wear, seeing as she forgot to buy a dress. Hermione had her mum send something in, but Autumn didn't have a mum. So, she was stuck pacing around the room. Autumn suddenly stopped, hearing footsteps in the room.
Autumn smiled, looking at Hermione.
She looked amazing. She wore a beautiful purple dress, and her curly hair was straightened and pulled into an updo.
"Why are you not dressed!?" Hermione shouted, scolding Autumn.
"I don't have dress." Autumn explained.
"Why didn't you say something earlier? I could've asked my mum to send something for you." Hermione said.
"It's fine, I'll think of something. Anyway, how did you get your hair so straight?"
"I used a charm to straighten it. It should hold the entire night! I'm so excited."
Autumn widened her eyes, realizing what she could do. "A charm you say. . ." She jumped over her bed and opened her trunk, finding the notebook that Hagrid had given her a few years ago. "Please, do not make me see something, I am late!" Autumn whispered as she opened the notebook. Luckily, nothing happened. She flipped the pages until she found the spell.
Autumn grinned to herself as she stood up straight and grabbed her wand from the corner of her bed. "Celornatus." Autumn brought the wand down and around herself, thinking of a beautiful dress.
"Woah." Hermione gasped as she saw Autumn's plain blue sweatshirt and jeans change into a beautiful pinkish-white color. Her hair was now put in perfect curls, some of it pulled back.
Autumn felt her converse shoes disappear and turn into a pair of heeled shoes.
"Well slap me in the face and call me Cinderella. . ." Autumn muttered as she looked down. "That was just like in Cinderella! Except I'm Cinderella and the Godmother." Autumn nodded her head. "Makes sense."
Autumn walked in front of the mirror and looked at herself. She gasped — a beautiful light pink, that almost looked like the nude lipstick Vanessa had shown her, draped down her body in an elegant matter. Small light grey flowers were embroidered in the top half of the dress, which was the most beautiful part of the dress. The short sleeves were brought slightly to the side, making Autumn wonder how it held onto her small body.
