Jaeden grabbed my hand and led me to a place..... our place.
when Jaeden and I were younger we used to hang out at this park near our house. It was only five minutes away so we always walked together. we would spend HOURS there and literally do nothing. we would just talk about what we did that day and what we are going to do the next day. it was simpler times. as we got older we stopped going to the park and just went to eachothers houses because we started to get bored of the park.
"oh my freaking god, we haven't been here since FOREVER" i said.
"ya i know, i thought it would be fun to come back here and you know.... talk" Jaeden replied
"but why here out of all places?" i questioned.
"because Y/N, WE ARE ABOUT TO HAVE THE BEST TIME OF OUR LIVES!" Jaeden shouted.
I laughed then stopped when i thought about what we were going to do. So do you remember when i told you about how our parents are best friends? well they like to go on vacation during the summer, and they leave me and Jaeden here alone. They would leave for about 3 weeks- 1 month and hire a babysitter for the both of us. they would leave 1000$ of for us to buy food and have fun. we would stay at either my house or Jaeden's. I have to admit that it isn't 10/10 amazing parenting but i don't mind. as we got older we didnt want a babysitter, and because our parents trusted two teenagers of the opposite gender staying at a house together for 3 weeks ALONE, they decided that we didnt need one..... crazy right? anywho, every year they leave, we plan out what we are going to do during that time period. Every year me and Jaeden have an amazing time.
"okay but we can't stay long because they are leaving soon" i chuckled.
"alright i'll start, tell me Y/N Y/L/N, are you excited for our fantastically fantastic summer that is ahead?" He asked.
"JAEDEN LIEBERHER, HOW COULD YOU ASK SUCH A QUESTION OF COURSE I AM EXCITED!" i dramatically shouted.
we both let out a laugh while we swang on the swings. it was fun to just let loose with Jaeden. He always made everything better and had a big heart. i pulled out my phone and looked at the time. i saw that it was 6:10 pm.
"oh crap,we have to go, our parents are going to the airport any second now"
i hopped off the swings and Jaeden hopped off after me. we sprinted back to our houses which thank god were only a few minutes away. we stopped when we saw our parents loading their luggage into the truck of the car.
"oh, there you guys are. we were wondering what you two were up to" Angela said.
"we were just discussing our plans for when you guys are gone" i quickly replied.
"okay, well dont have too much fun while we are gone" Y/M/N joked.
"if you say so" i smugly replied.
"alright, we will be on our way now. we love you guys so much, have fun and be safe" Y/M/N says while hugging me.
"bye guys! WE LOVE YOU!" Jaeden and i said in unison while our parents entered the car and drove off.
we watched them drive down the street and then disappear. i sighed then turned to Jaeden who was looking at me.
"what is something wrong?" i asked.
"WE ARE ABOUT TO HAVE THE BEST TIME OF OUR LIVES!" Jaeden yelled before grabbing my hand and pulling me into his house.
i will admit, im pretty excited about whats yet to come.

AND BOOM SECOND CHAPTER DONE!
i would like to update the chapters pretty quickly because i know how annyoing it is to wait for an author to take a century to update a chapter. i also want to finish this book before i go back to school (which is September 5) because when school starts i wont be able to write as much.
SO UNTIL NEXT TIME.................... i genuinely mean it im just going to leave it at that.
