Chapter 3

Pen's POV:
A car pulled up.
It was grey. I didn't even realize he left.
"Everyone on it...?" He looked at them.
"Yep!" King laughed.
Everyone but Grey and I ran into the store and trashed the place.
I stood outside watching but the door was open.
"Hey get-!" The cashier was cut off.
"I don't think so mister, hands in the air." Max pointed what seemed to be a pistol.
Grey walked in and grabbed the security tapes, then casually walked out.
They grabbed alcohol and King grabbed cigarettes.
After they did they all ran out in to the car and I ran with them...
My eyes where shocked still,
Grey hit the gas which jerked the car and we drove for about 5 minutes.
It was dark already.
My mom was blowing up my phone I just knew..
We finally stopped at a house.
"Who's house is this?" I asked
"Mine" king smiled, "my parents aren't home, they're out traveling for work."
We got out the car and we all got inside and went to the basement.
"Any names Rose?" Grey looked to Rose
"A girl who tried to "bully" me, her name is Samantha Parks, freshmen."
I heard max walk down stairs with king she was giggling..
"So how about some fun?" King laughed..
"Guys if you are going to do that again go to the room." Grey put his hand over his face.
"Okay." King smiled as he picked up max and went up stairs.
"I wouldn't bother them if I where you." Rosa smiled at me.
"I need to go home, my mom she's been trying to call me all night.." I had a cold sweat.
"I'll drive you." Grey smiled.
I got into the car with grey and I told him my address, we didn't talk at all.
He dropped me off and I went inside.
"Where were you young lady!?"
"I went to a friends house and my phone died I'm sorry!" I lied.. I didn't know what would happen if I told what really happen.
She sent me to my room.
I screamed in my pillow and fell  asleep shortly after.
It was finally the weekend, I woke up and brushed my teeth and hair.
My phone went off and I looked at the text.
"You should come over to my place ;D ~Maxine"
I sighed and ask my mom if I could go over to her house.
She told me I have to come back at 6 since I was still in trouble, and that she would love to see Max here soon.
She always worried about Max when she wouldn't come to school it was kinda funny.
Max didn't live that far from me..
I walked there and knocked on her door.
She opened the door with grey behind her.
Her hair was a mess like she had a "good night.." if you know what I mean.
"Aren't you a player?" I smiled and joked around.
"I'll smash who I want." She smirked as she opened the screen door.
Everyone was inside and I smelt food.
"Have you eaten yet Miss?" Grey looked down at me.
"No but I'm not hungry, thank you though."
He nodded
"Hey what happen?" I saw scars on Max's wrist.
"It's called life.." she was a total mess. Her long shirt that was grey and had thigh high socks on with her messy brown hair.
King stood up, he had dark gray sweat pants on no shirt.
Rose had black leggings with a black tank top on.
Grey had a black leather jacket on with a black t-shirt with black jeans on..
I wore a reddish jacket with ripped blue jeans and a purple shirt and my hair was up in a ponytail.
"Hey Max my mom would love to see you" I smiled at her, "she's been asking since school started.."
"Oh sweetie, king won't let me out of his sight so he would have to come with me." King walked over to Max as she said that.
King was so tall compared to Max well, Max was the shortest of the group. She has to be at least 5'2" or 5'3" king was 5'10".
"My mom wouldn't let guy over." I said sighing.
"You can go but you have to check in when you get there and leave, okay?" King crossed his arms
"Kk king" max held up a piece sign and winked.
"Want me to drive you." Grey looked at me.
"No thanks Grey, I doesn't live that far." I smiled and thanked him
Max didn't do anything to her hair just put it in a messy bun and put on some knee high boots.
"Don't worry I'm wearing shorts underneath." She rolled her eyes.
We walked out and Grey locked the door.
5 minutes of walking a guy already hit on Max.
"So what happened to the group, not to be mean or anything. You've all changed." I sighed
"It's called nothing went right freshman year.." she looked up.
We finally made it to my house
My mom ran up to Max and hugged her.
"You look so different!" She smiled.
Max was weirded out.
"I have to check in with my friend."
"No no no I want to catch up with you!"
It was 20 minutes later and we heard a loud banging on the door.
"Oh shit." Max looked over in the door's direction.
"Excuse me young lady you shouldn't use cuss words!" My mom got angry.
"Listen lady!" Max stood up, "if I don't answer that right now you'll be dead. So don't get in my fucking way."
Max ran to the door and opened it.
King was at the door.
"Kingston! I'm so sorry I didn't check in this lady wouldn't let me." Maxine hugged him
"We are leaving and you are not allowed here anymore!" King growled.
He grabbed Max's arm and my mom ran to the door.
"Who the fuck are you!" My mom screamed at him.
"I'm the king of this world." King laughed, grabbed Maxine, and ran to grey's black SUV.
My mom had fallen to the floor after she closed the door.
"Maxine has to deal with that?" She covered her face
"No mom," I kneeled down to her, "she chooses too.."
