Chapter 4

Pen's POV:
It later turned dark and I fell asleep on the couch watching TV.
I woke up to my phone ringing, I looked at the time before answering it. The caller ID was an unknown number.
"Hello? Who is this?" I asked.
"Hey it's Rose, we're outside come on we're going on a small trip" she laughed softly.
"I'm sorry I can't, my mother would kill me." I sighed.
"Either get outside or Kingston will go inside, which one?" She groaned.
"Ok! Ok! I'll come outside!" I then hung up and brushed my hair and teeth, then got outside after disarming the house.
"My mother is going to murder me." I whispered to myself.
I got into the car.
Max was asleep on King's lap in the back seat, rose was in the front, and of course Grey was diving.
"Ok so once we get to the house, King you'll go inside" grey looked in the back view mirror.
"Got it boss." King got Maxine off of him accidentally waking her.
"fuck what I miss." Max laid on the floor of the SUV some of the back seats where taken out so there was a lot of room.
We stopped at a house...
"King here's a wire, go inside and find what you can. What ever you do, Don't get caught you dumbass." Grey turned to king and handed him the wire.
There was a radio in the back so Grey got out of his seat and sat down next to it.
Max crawled over to him and laid her head in his lap.
Grey ran his hands threw her soft hair as she yawned.
I thought to myself
"Isn't grey dating Rose?"
But I didn't say anything knowing one little slip up could get me in trouble.
"I'm in." Kings voice came threw the radio.
"Ok is anyone awake?" Grey asked while holding a small walkie-talkie and talking to it.
"Doesn't look like it. I'm going to head upstairs."
Grey looked back to Rose and she nodded as she held up binoculars to her eyes.
Max started to move around and looked up at grey and touched the tip of his hair.
"I don't see how you and king are together." He smiled and laughed a little.
"We're not together grey." She looked at him questionably, "wait did he say that?!" Her face when from happy to mad.
"I found her diary!" King laughed softly.
"Ok I think that's all we need get out of there the parents light turned on!" Grey was looking threw the window of the SUV.
King got out of the house and grey moved Maxine's head and ran to the drivers seat.
King ran in the SUV and Grey sped off.
King tried to talk to Max but she was still upset. I guess the smallest things would set her off..
King started to get mad and yelled at her. We stopped at Grey's house.
"Guys please!" Grey started to get frustrated.
Maxine walked out the car and started walking away from the house.
King followed her and turned her around.
"Don't fucking touch me!" Max yelled.
King then hit her...
Max reached in her bad and held a pistol to his head.
"Come on you fucker shoot me! You don't have the guts!"
Grey ran up to max and picked her up and threw her over his shoulder.
She hit his back multiple times wanting down Rose held the door open as everyone walked inside. We walked into the living room and Grey sat Max down and took her gun.
"Calm down there is nothing to be mad about. It's just a misunderstanding." Grey wiped a tear from Maxine's face.
"She's not sad when she gets so frustrated or mad she cries." Rose whispered to me.
"Let's get ice for your cheek hon" grey smiled at her.he got up and grabbed a zip-lock bag then put ice and a rag around it.
"Here" he smiled.
Grey went into another room after grabbing kings arm.. for a couple minutes there was yelling.
Then silence... king walked out of the house and Rose looked at grey.
"I don't wanna fucking deal why don't you do after him." Grey looked back at her.
"Yes sir." She ran after king.
"So how are you feeling Maxie."
"Maxie?" I smiled and laughed.
"My nickname for her when we're alone. The others would make fun of me if I said it in front of them." He smiled.
"I'm tired Grey.." max yawned as she put the ice down.
"Ok well here" grey picked her up and carried her to his room, "you can sleep in my room, I'm going to take Pen home. I'll be back." He covered her with the blanket.
"Let's get going before the others come back." He patted my head.
"Okay." I walked out of the room and put the front door to the car.
"Get in" grey unlocked the doors.
I got in and we drove to my house. Then he drove off before I got inside.
I walked in and the alarm started blaring.
"Damnit.." I thought to myself.
My mom ran down stairs and greeted me with a disappointed face.
I turned off the alarm and my mom yelled at me to get up stairs and go to bed.
"Well tomorrow will be great." I whispered to myself.
I went up stairs and went to bed once again...
Today was shit.
