5. Being His Model

(Lauren)
Im actually ridiculous and stupid, I told Michael I loved him. After only seeing him for two days! What is wrong with me. I always find a way to mess everything up. I didn't even know how I felt about Michael yet I was so quick to say I was in love. I ran to my car and sobbed into my steering wheel. Michael tapped on the glass. I didn't know what to do in these situations.

I looked up and wiped the tears from my eyes. I rolled down the window. "You hate me I know."

"What? No I don't hate you- but."

I shook my head.

He signed. "You- you love me?"

My stomach dropped. "I don't know where that came from I'm sorry I just need time."

"It's okay Lauren. Ill give you space."

I went home and decided to call him. I felt like an idiot. It was my fault what had happened. "Hello?"

"Michael I'm sorry about everything. Can you talk?"

"It's okay I understand. Lauren I was gonna ask you something, would you mind being in my new short film?"

(Michael) I offered Lauren to be my model for The Way You Make Me Feel music video. She paused. "After everything, you think I got what it takes?"

"Of course."

Lauren, are you excited?" I asked. She was getting ready in her dressing room. She wore a beautiful black dress and heels. Her curly brown hair let loose. "So excited! It's not that hard right? I mean all I have to do is walk around." I laughed.

"Mostly, but you know.. we have to kiss."

She blushed. "Yeah, I know."

Lauren and I walked over to the set.
"And action."

"Right now?" She whispered to me. I nodded.

When the music started, I sang along. Lauren walked over to her girl gang. She seemed so confident even though she was nervous backstage. Everything was going well on our first take, however, she couldn't help but giggle when I ran after her so we had to shoot a few times before we got it right.

"I like the feelin' you're giving me." I said looking at Lauren. She giggled. She wasn't really paying any attention to her surroundings and tripped and fell. "Are you ok? That was quite a fall! Is it your heels?"

She shook her head. "No, I'm fine". She got up and we continued to film.

(Lauren's POV)
Well, I totally embarrassed myself. I fell while we were filming. I'm such a klutz. We looked back at the footage, it looked so good! It was now time for the kiss. I took a deep breathe and walked into the clearing, turning towards Michael. His lips slowly touched mine and we hugged. It was awkward after I told him a loved him. He didn't seem to mind.

"Perfect!" The director's said, as they cut the scene. The lights turned back on. My lips were still on Michael's. Our foreheads were touching. "Michael." Mumbled. "They got the shot." I said trying to push away from him.

"Right, sorry." The crew were teasing us.

"Oooh we got some romance going on."
