Heart of mine stop at once,
I wish not to love such a dunce.
His hair too silky for my taste,
His heart ever so sweet for his fair face.
His feathered hair swirled in curls,
Forever smooth and shiny like a girl's.
Why heart of mine, do you choose this boy?
Forever stealing my heart with pure joy.
Why oh why must I feel so lovesick?
When for all of my life I have been loveless.
It bubbles, it churns, it sings, it bursts,
colours of my heart creating arrays in my mind like an
unremovable curse.
Time seems to stop every time I look at you,
Sitting alone in thought without a clue.
This is a strange world we live in,
Not knowing what we've done or how we have been.
I look at you and I know one thing is true,
I'm in love all thanks to you.
