Jimin eyed Jungkook, who was suspiciously staring into the space behind Jimin, as he sipped his soup. He hadn't said much the entire time they both sat in the booth of a Pho restaurant. Finally, Jimin felt strange sitting in silence, so he waved his hand in front of Jungkook.

"Kookie?" Jimin said, snapping Jungkook back into reality. "You okay?"

Jungkook blinked. "Oh, yeah, sorry." He quickly resumed eating his noodles, but Jimin didn't want to let him off so easily.

"What's wrong?" Jimin asked, reaching across the table to rub Jungkook's hand. Jungkook looked up at him. He nervously purses his lips and darted his eyes, leaning in closer.

"Um, you remember that girl from the party?" he said, keeping his voice down. Jimin nodded. Hana, he recalled. "Well, if you're gonna look, try not to make it so obvious, but I'm pretty certain she's sitting over there."

At that, Jungkook discretely pointed his finger behind Jimin, directing across the room. Jimin lowered his head and snuck a glance behind himself. The restaurant was filled, but a head of straight light brown hair with bleached tips stuck out of the crowd. She sat alone, keeping to herself as she ate her bowl of food. With the quick look Jimin took, he noticed she wore nearly all black clothing, including a thick jacket, which was a strange change from her party outfit the night they encountered her.

An unsettling feeling starting forming in his stomach.

"What's she doing here? We're so far out from town," Jimin questioned, suspicious. Jungkook could only shrug.

"Not sure, but let's take the rest of our food to-go. I don't think we should stay any longer," Jungkook said worriedly.

"I'm sure she's harmless. Could be a coincidence," Jimin reasoned, trying to calm down his own overdramatic thoughts as well. But Jungkook shook his head, as if making up his mind.

"I don't really want to stay to find out what'll happen if she recognizes us," he whispered, sounding both frightened and stern. He looked at Jimin with pleading eyes, which Jimin couldn't reject. He knew something was up. Something more than just facing the girl who tried seducing and pressuring Jungkook on a late night, but Jimin decided to ask about it later.

"Okay," he agreed, raising his hand to catch a waitress's attention. After a few minutes of Jungkook convincing Jimin he would pay, the couple was out in no time. Jungkook, who followed Jimin to the door, looked over at Hana for a brief moment, and thankfully, she was distracted on her phone. Jungkook exhaled in relief and walked outside.

As the two walked to the car, Jimin hugged Jungkook's arm. He could tell he was a little stressed and extremely worried. They finally got inside the vehicle.

"What's up, Kookie?" Jimin asked. Jungkook was oddly quiet. It wasn't like he was the loud type, but the silence combined with his cloudy expression made Jimin feel uncomfortable.

"There's still...a lot I need to tell you," Jungkook answered quietly as he started the car. He was acting so mysterious, and Jimin wasn't sure if he liked that. It wasn't until then that Jimin realized Jungkook was much more insecure and confidential than he thought, and he knew it wasn't because of him. Jungkook simply had trouble talking about personal things. Jimin could understand that.

The couple drove without much conversation. Just the road, the radio, and their breathing. Jungkook was stuck in his little world. He wished he had just told Jimin everything the night they kissed at the beach, but something was telling him that he didn't want to let Jimin know about how quite literally in danger he and his brother were. Unlike Taehyung, who could easily tell people his problems, Jungkook couldn't. The fact was that he'd never trusted anyone like he did with Jimin. Taehyung had many girlfriends and many friends before, but Jungkook didn't.
