Evander was suspended for the attack. When Mr. Gorbs ran down and got sercurity it took two men to get him off of the girl. They roughly got a hold of him and drug him all the way down to Mrs. Laney's office. Mrs. Laney of course didn't hesitate to throw him out of school for a few days. Evander contacted Ms. Sparks and told her what happened before asking for ride back to Black Ruby. On the way way back Ms. Sparks looked like she was disappointed that she he'd been suspended, but she still seemed like she still understood what he was going through. She had a talk with him about it as soon as they got back to the home. Emma was surprised to see Evander back so early. As Ms. Sparks spoke with Evander at the kitchen table Emma eavesdropped the whole conversation, so she soon found out what happened.

He's been up in his room all day ever since, lying across his bed and staring at the ceiling. It was now past eleven at night. He could hear the wind outside trying to blow the entire building away. The sound of it actually gave him comfort. The anger didn't leave him. He was still angry because of his parents's death...and he was also still mad at Betty. He knew that if it wasn't for her, him and his parents could've left and went to the dinner right away and been gone when the intruder showed up.  But no, I'm out trying to pay some for some shit I didn't even do! Evander thought, standing up off the bed and smashing his dresser with both his fists.

"Fuck this shit!" He yelled, staring into his the mirror with teary eyes, "How come I can't be dead with them? I hate it here now. If my parents aren't here I'm not here either."

At that moment he felt like he was mad at everything. Every small and minor incident from the past caught up with in that small few seconds, and strangely made him more angry. Even though the things he thought of happened years ago, they infuriated him as if they just happened last week. Something in particular he thought of at that second was all they way back in the seventh grade when there was a school dance at that time. He asked Angelica to go to the dance with him of many times a few weeks prior. But she turned him down every time even though she wasn't taken. But when Todd asked her for the first time she accepted him without hesitation. Evander ended up going to the dance alone, and when he saw Angelica walk into the gym with Todd he felt like his soul had been pierced with a needle. The most painful memory ever.

Before Mrs. Ebony, or any other female in high school he had the hots for, Angelica came before them all. She was his crush for a long time since fourth grade, and she never left his heart. Over the years his warm and sexual feelings towards her stuck with him, never letting him escape no matter how hard he tried. He always thought she was special, but she never felt the same about him. Everyday at school when she saw him around she'd always ignore him and treat him like any other guy, totally unaware that he's been secretly obsessed with her ever since that first day he saw her in elementary school. Lace knew Evander liked Angelica back in the seventh grade, but by now he thought Evander was over her, which he isn't. Evander wanted to not care about her anymore because he knew he wasn't going to get her. But he couldn't just switch his feelings off. It was causing him pain, and keeping it a hidden secret from everyone he knew made it worse.

In the mirror he saw that his forehead had a few veins sprouting down towards his eyes. Then that's when he saw his face slowly transform into an almost inhuman one. Red eyes. He knew what was in front of him. He stepped back from the dresser and stared at his crazed self in the mirror. This is the first time he's seen his clone all day since he left school. He was a little surprised to see it show up suddenly. What the hell do he want now? Evander thought.

The clone stepped out of the mirror like it was coming out of a portal, staring at Evander firmly. Evander took another step back. His clone grinned at him, then pointed at the small miniature drawer sitting on the dresser. It walked to the dresser and pulled the drawer out of the box, then it picked up the bowie knife inside. He walked over to Evander and raised the knife to him with two flat hands. Evander hesitated before taking it.
