Marriage 101 (Chapter 11)

Normani and Camila have there first consuling session today.

"Good morning my name is Dr. Evans. Now tell me a little bit about your guys situation."

"Well Dr me and Normani were married for 5 years but we've been together for almost 10..."

"Were? What happened?"

"Well a few weeks ago I found out I was pregnant and I didn't tell Normani."

"Why didn't you tell her?"

"I wasn't ready for another baby yet. Physically,emotionally,mentally I wasn't prepared. Instead of just telling her that I kept it secret. I wanted to see if my mind would change. I knew how much she wanted another baby especially a son so I know not telling her would devastate her."

"So you didn't tell her what happened?"

"I told one of our close friends who constantly told me to tell Normani. But I didn't so Fathers Day comes around and I'm 5 weeks pregnant and Normani doesn't know. While I was fixing dinner our house phone rang and the abortion clinic called asking to confirm my appointment. But it was Normani who answered the phone and that's how she found."

"Camila did you think about how Normani would feel at all?"

"I did. I honest to god I did. That's why I didn't get the abortion yet I was waiting to tell her and see if we could talk about it."

"You obviously waited too long."

"I know. And when she got the call we got into an argument that I don't blame her for and we had divorce papers the next day."

"Ok Normani is that story right?"

"Yeah its right."

"Tell me how you're feeling."

"You wanna know what it feels like for the love of your life your wife of 5 years the mother of your first child to keep a pregnancy from you and had plans to have an abortion and NOT tell me? You wanna fucking know how that feels? It feels like she ran me over with a monster truck to but it in simple words."

"How bad did you want another baby?"

"I'll admit I wanted one really bad. I don't know if I put too much pressure on her saying I wanted another baby especially a son. It's just Imani is literally the greatest thing that's ever happened to me. My daughter is my whole entire world and galaxy put together. Everything I do is for her she's the most important thing in my life. So me having a daughter already I was thinking having son would be just as great."

"Did she change your life?"

"Absolutely even though I was already focused on just Camila when we were married having Imani just made everything better."

"Explain focus."

"Even when we were just dating Camila was all I thought about. She was all I needed all my time and energy was to make her happy. When we got married I cut off practically everyone. She would have to push me out the house to hangout with some friends. I just wanted to be with her.

"What kinds of friends?"

"Honestly we don't have much friends I have 2 childhood friends and 1 other close friends. Then 3 others who became sisters well 2 became sister 1 stabbed me in the back."

"How did they stab you?"

"I'm pretty sure you know I've been to jail. I fought someone for kissing Camila the day after I proposed so I fucked her up. Keep in mind I told Camila don't hang out with that friend before the incident happened. So my trial comes along and one of the friends is up there testifying against me. We already had beef though because I beat her ads for how she treated Camila so she was still pissed."
