Skye's eyes were tired. She'd been listening all night and sleep begged to take over her yet she wouldn't let it.
She needed to get out of her house.
She needed to see someone. So with all her effort she raised herself from her bed and climbed out of her window, careful not to fall.
Her feet hit the ground with a crunch of the leaves beneath her.She made her way down the dark streets and it felt as if she was walking for hours until she reached his house.
Clay Jensen sat in his room, visible from the window as his light was blaring bright and yellow.
He was doing homework, headphones wrapped around his ears as he listened to a thousand sad songs at once.
He was still forever stuck in sad times. She threw a rock at his window, careful of to throw it with so much power it breaks. She'd seen what broken windows do to people.
His eyes widened as he placed his headphones on the side table."What are you doing?" He mouthed, an annoyed expression plastered on his handsome face.
Sky blushed before mouthing back and pointing to the ground, "come down!"
With a nod, the ocean eyed boy made his way through out the house, the floors creaking as he tried his hardest not to wake his parents. It was midnight after all.
The door swung open as he stormed out, "sky what are you doing her?"
He rolled his eyes, "DO YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS?!"
He was shouting in a whisper.
Sky felt bad, but instead of apologising she snapped back, "says the boy who does homework at this time of night."With another roll of the eyes, he calmly said, "sky.. what do you need?"
Her face fell angry, "Hannah."There was a silence.
He was shocked.
"Sky.. Hannah's..""That isn't what I meant."
Confusion flooded his brain before sky finished her sentence,
"What did you tell Hannah clay?"
