She remembered it so well, it was the best night of her life.
The night her first ever love took her innocence.. and made her feel.. special.

She remembered the way he kissed her as if it was their last day on earth, she remembered how he then trailed those kisses down her neck and collar bone, she remembered the feeling of his body against hers..
She remembered how good he made her feel.

And then one day.. he was gone.

The month before the accident.. they'd talked about Bryce and Jeff said the only way to protect her was to stop their relationship.

Her heart broke.. but she knew he was right.

After crying a lot.. Skye ignored clays pleading and turned the tape on once more.. Hannah began to talk,

A few weeks later he got a girlfriend, a very pretty one, and the rumours stopped.
But his love for you didn't Skye.

Skye knew that much.
One of her last memories of him was serving coffee and glancing over to see him on a date with the girl everyone thought was so special to him.
She was chatting away, but Jeff wasn't listening.. he was too busy staring at her, Skye, passion, lust and desire striking through his eyes.

On her way out from work she watched as he walked with his girlfriend to her car, waving as she drove away.

Why didn't he go with her?

Her question was answered when he jogged over to her and dragged her behind the cafe, he told her he still loved her.. but he knew they couldn't be together..

He told her he couldn't bare being without her and seeing her with Bryce everyday..
He told her he needed her.. but he couldn't have her.
But he said he was going to..
One. Last. Time.

That was the second time she felt him kiss her jaw and enjoyed the feeling their bodies moving against each other in sync.
It was magical.. but it was over too soon.

Skye I'm not sure what happened between you two after that.. but I do know what happened the night..

The night..

There was a wobbled sigh,

The night Jeff didn't come home.

Skye also remembered that night.
The night she lost everything.

I was told by someone.. that they overheard Bryce talking about it.. calling you some horrible things.

So I know.
Sure you may think I just know bryce' point of view but Skye I also know yours..
Because I put the puzzle pieces together.

That.. night..
You went to Bryces home for dinner and a movie.. but Bryce didn't really want that did he?
He wanted something more.
He began to take your clothes off.. you struggled to push him away.
He began to kiss you..
You didn't kiss back.
He began to peck down your neck..
And that's when he noticed it.

If only Jeff was careful were he kissed you..

"A hickey?"
Clay seemed offended by the way he spoke his thoughts out loud, turning to Skye surprised.
She just nodded.

He began to hit you again, but this time he brought his toys.
He kissed you aggressively as he punched you and slowly backed away as he brought out a knife.

That's when you ran for it, dialling on your phone the number of the person you trusted most, Jeff.

"Skye.. what happened next?"

And soon enough.. lucky to you, unlucky to him, he picked up.

"He said it would be okay.."

He said it would be okay..

"That he'd come and get me.."

That he'd come and get you..

"That he'd protect me from him.. that he had a plan."

That he had a plan..

"He would drive to bryces house, pretend he ordered pizza.. and then stop him."

He began to drive to bryces.. a pizza box in the passenger seat as he thought of a way to stop Bryce.
He was going to pretend he ordered a pizza, then attack.

But that never happened.

She began to breath heavily through the Walkman.

I'm so sorry Skye.
