Prima {Otayuri}

Five.

   Yuri woke up surrounded by blinding lights, and the beeping of machines. His blurry vision cleared, and he saw Otabek sitting next to him. 

   "Beka? What's going on?" Yuri asked. Otabek looked up from his hands, which were shaking. His eyes were red and swollen. "Something happened with your heart. They said it's from being malnourished" Otabek's voice was small, and his voice cracked. Yuri frowned. He saw a glass of water next to his bed, and reached for it. Otabek quickly grabbed it and handed it to him, but Yuri was too weak to hold it. Luckily, Otabek hadn't completely let go of it, and prevented it from spilling. 

   "Yuri, you could've died" Otabek suddenly blurted as tears started to stream down his face. Yuri looked at the IV in his hand, and at the many monitors surrounding his bed. Yuri wanted to hug Otabek and never let go, and just cry. But no tears were falling. He opened his arms.

   "Beka. Hug." Yuri stated, not asked, or suggested, but stated. Otabek basically jumped into Yuri's arms, but was careful to not hurt him or disturb the multiple tubes and cords. 

   "Promise me that you'll eat, or try to eat" Otabek pressed a kiss to the side of Yuri's head.

   "I promise"

   Yuri walked into his apartment, still feeling a bit weak. Sitting on the table was multiple boxes of chocolates, teddy bears, and flowers. Otabek placed a few grocery bags onto the floor and smiled. Yuri picked up a bear and hugged it. It smelled like Otabek's cologne. Yuri sat down on the floor and hugged the bear tightly. Otabek smiled.

   "Can't say all of these are from me. A girl named Mila stopped by, and your grandfather too. I just bought you the biggest bear, the one you're hugging, and that box of chocolates with the red bow. Oh, and the red and white bouquet of roses. I looked into the meaning of those colors put together and everything" Otabek pet the fluffy cat that began to circle his legs, but the cat left after a moment and ran to Yuri. Yuri picked him up and smiled. 

   "Beka the cat, I've missed you" Yuri nuzzled his nose into the cats fur and hugged him before setting him down again. Yuri immediately took the two bears Otabek had bought, and the box of chocolates and flowers that accompanied them, leaving the others on the table. He carried them into the bedroom and sat on his side of the bed. he pat the spot next to him for Otabek, who sat down next to him. Yuri placed the roses in a small vase he had kept on his nightstand, and opened the chocolates, which were the fancy ones. Yuri smiled as he popped one into his mouth. 

   "This is really good!" Yuri smiled and hugged the bears before leaning on Otabek. Yuri grabbed the remote off his nightstand and flicked on the TV, searching for a movie. He found Sleeping Beauty and turned it on. Otabek wrapped his arms around Yuri and laid back, Yuri lying with his head on Otabek's shoulder. Yuri also held the two bears close to him as he ate his chocolates.

   Otabek woke up before Yuri, which was shocking. Wrappers were sprawled across the bed. Yuri was almost on top of Otabek, his arms and legs sprawled out over the older boy. Otabek carefully got up, making sure to not awake the still slumbering boy. Otabek prepared them both a breakfast of waffles, oatmeal, and cut up fruits. Otabek ate his and carried Yuri's in on a tray. 

   "Yura, it's nearly 11. You should get up now" Otabek said in a sweet tone as he sat down on the bed. Yuri arose and rubbed his eyes as he sat up. 

"B-Beka, that's a lot of food, I don't know if I can eat all of that" Yuri said as he yawned. Otabek frowned and looked down. "Please try. Look, I'm gonna sound like Victor for a second here, but I'll make you a deal. If you try to get better, and make a real effort for the next 3 months, I'll marry you" Otabek sat the tray down on Yuri's lap. Yuri's eyes lit up. He grabbed a spoon and snarfed down the oatmeal.
