The first month was hard. Yuri cried often. But he never gave up. He still danced, and he had to tolerate Lilia scolding him for things that didn't exist. But he survived. Yuri balanced out his diet, he became healthy, although he would always have a heart problem.
The second month was a lot easier. He would often eat on his own choice, and he even learned how to cook. Otabek was so proud of Yuri. Otabek bought him flowers whenever the previous ones had wilted.
The third month was nothing to Yuri. He ate properly, and when he went in for his weigh-in, the doctor told Yuri that he had exceeded their expectations.

Otabek walked around town, looking at every jewelry shop. He found a nice one near the edge of the city. The warm air and soft music welcomed him. As he looked through their options for rings, he saw the perfect one. It was multiple silver bands that twisted and turned around each other, it was oddly gorgeous. There was only one stone, and it was a blue-green color. Otabek thought of Yuri's eyes, his soldier eyes. Otabek immediately knew that this was the one. He quickly bought a pair of rings and drove back home, hoping Yuri hadn't awoken from his nap yet.
Otabek pushed open the bedroom door, to find Yuri still sleeping. Otabek laid down next to Yuri and watched TV until the blonde woke up.
"I'm hungry" Yuri jumped out of bed and headed into the fully stocked kitchen. He got out a box of cookies and grabbed a handful.
"Hey, I wanted to show you a really nice place I found, it's quiet and not a lot of people go there" Otabek made himself some coffee and sat on the counter. Yuri walked over to Otabek and stood in front of him before leaning in to give him a small kiss on the lips. "Alright, I'll go get ready" Yuri headed into the bedroom and changed into warm clothing, as it was mid-November. He pulled on one of Otabek's sweaters, and pulled his hair into a ponytail. Otabek was already ready to go. The two left and got onto Otabek's bike. The ride there was silent, Yuri clinging to Otabek as Otabek drove. Otabek drove down a small rode without streetlights. This lead to a gorgeous lake. Yuri marveled at the reflection of the moon in the water. They got off the bike and walked around the edge.
"Hey, Yura"
"What?"
"So I did promise you something" Otabek got down onto one knee., which wasn't easy as he was in skinny jeans. But he managed. Yuri clasped his hands over his mouth and tears streamed down his face.
"Yuri Plisetsky, will you make me the happiest man alive, or dead, and marry me?" Otabek was also crying. Yuri just jumped onto Otabek and hugged him, sobbing quietly. After a few moments, Yuri pulled away and looked into Otabek's dark eyes.
"Yes".
Otabek cried more as he slipped the ring onto Yuri's finger. It fit perfectly. Yuri stared at the stunning jewel.
"Well, we have a wedding to plan" Yuri smiled and brought his cold hands to Otabek's cheeks, before the two both leaned in for a kiss.
