That's what Leo hears every minute of each passing day that Jas doesn't open her eyes, it was making him feel more pain each time he heard it as he looks at her face praying for her eyes to open and to look at him with a smile to say she was alright, but it never happened he called there friends after calling his parents about the incident but none could come at the moment due to certain fights and demands happening making him feel like he was going to cry at any moment, the doctors said that it would take time before she wakes up and relieved him of worrying that she would loose her memories as Karai's gun blow to the head didn't do any damage making him simply hold her hand as he watches her chest slowly rise and fall to show him she was still alive at the moment, he didn't eat or sleep yet nor did he want to for if he did it would mean leaving her and that would mean her maybe waking up without him around to see her doing so to make him smile in relief that she was now over being in a coma.

Each time he looked away from her a voice in his head would tell him it was his fault that Jas was like this, Karai had pointed the gun to him and just as she shoot Jas had moved to protect him from the bullet and as a result Leo had beaten Karai as the police came in for answer and from seeing Jas on the floor they knew it was Karai that they had to arrest at the moment making Leo sit with Jas in the ambulance as he did his best to keep her awake, but with the sight of Jas becoming pale from the loss of blood he knew that Jas had to stay awake to stay alive and it was hard to do with how tired she was right now but even so they got to the hospital and started surgery on her to save her life quickly and to keep her alive at the moment due to the bullet still being inside of her at the moment making Leo worry as the clock ticked making him worry that the doctor would come out to say sorry for his loss of Jas meaning Karai would have committed murder and had won with getting rid of Jas.

Beep... beep... beep... beep

It was torture at the moment to not know if she was going to wake up or not, it his fucking job to protect her and he screwed it up big time! he wanted god to put him in her place to take his life to wake her up but nothing happened as all he could do was pray from god to help Jas wake up right now, Donnie would call at times to ask for updates on Jas but even then doctors didn't tell him much due to Leo crying and becoming emotional most of the time making Don come to Hawaii to see them and examine Jas on her condition, Leo's parents promised to be there in three days making him sigh as Donnie had good news for him "She should wake up tomorrow, I don't know when but it's tomorrow" he said making Leo look at her as Don left to get back to New York promising to tell the others about all of this once he's in school, he really wanted to figure out how Karai even knew where they were as he then understood that it was Karai that Jas felt watching them this whole time.

Sometimes he felt stress and panic when he thinks the heart monitor tells him she died and that then the doctors come in to barely try to save her life as Karai comes in to finish the job making the doctors claim she was dead as Karai simply wear Jassie's ring and her wedding dress as the whole room changes to a wedding between him and Karai making him then blink as it stopped making him certain it was a panic attack or something making him go hold Jassie's hand in hopes it would help him calm down a bit as he waits for her to wake up at some point, another voice would tell him everything was fine and that he just had to wait and see what happens next and that Karai would never be able to get him to marry her as he sighed and watched Jas as she breaths making him smile and then slowly cry in pain for her to be in such a state at the moment while feeling guilt for it to happen to her and not to him in the end like it should have happened.

Beep... beep... beep... beep... beep... beep... beep

The only time he left the room was to go to the bathroom or to buy a rose for each day that passed without her waking up and it had been a month already since Karai's attack making him still worry that Donnie was actually wrong about Jas waking up tomorrow, he had believed the doctors the whole time that she was alright and that she would wake up when she was ready and that she wouldn't loose her memories when she does wake up but even so he could help but worry that none of it was true, a nurse would always come each hour to check on Jas making her then ask if he needed anything as one suggested she would bring him food making him accept the offer as she smiled and went to get him some soup as it was actually so far the only thing he would eat at the moment, even so it was just enough to relax the very nurse who comes to watch over Jasmine and her condition as Leo still hopes from a miracle to happen at any moment to make her wake up right now, his mother would mostly call to try and calm him down or even to focus him on something else but at times she doesn't make it to the end.

Beep... beep... beep... beep... beep... beep... beep... beep

It kept going and going the very beeping he wanted to stop was making sure to let him know that Jas was still alive at the moment, he kept holding her hand after he eats and knew that the nurse wanted him to sleep but even so he couldn't do it if Jas wakes up without him awake which made the nurse sigh and swear she would try again later on when she would come back in an hour, making him just watch Jas as his eyes slowly started to close making him open them wide before they closed due to the fact it meant he was falling asleep and that wasn't something he could do right now if Jas wakes up at the time he was sleeping, yet even so when the nurse came back in he was rubbing his eyes claiming he wasn't tired but she knew he was and had to sleep yet he kept fighting to stay awake and not fall asleep making her groan and plead to him to get some sleep and that Jas wouldn't wake up during the time he sleeps for a couple of hours making him glare at her as she stomped out of the room with a vow of getting him to sleep when she comes back.

Beep... beep... beep... beep... beep... beep... beep... beep... beep...beep

In the end the nurse came back three hours later due to having an emergency with another patient and then taking a brake to clean herself, so when she came back at that time to check on Jas she was surprised to the sigh as she smiled softly due to the fact that Leo fell asleep in the end and Jas was now awake and watching him sleep as she placed the very blanket that covered her on him as she held him the best she could without trying to move him to the cot she was on "If you want I could help you place him beside you" she said making Jas look at her with a smile and nodded as the nurse moved to help and then removed every machine from the room even the heart monitor, Jas smiled as the blanket was back on her but also on Leo as she watched him sleep and decided to sleep some more with him and to make sure he was alright the whole that night and as Leo woke up once more she too woke up making him cry in relief for her to have woken up at last as now the torture was over for him.
