Myana and the elemental sword

Prologue

When the world first began there was a goddess. This goddess created the world we know and a world in where the people who lived there could wield an element. But what this goddess didn't know was that along with that gift there was a darkness that would follow. This darkness was in the form of demons. 

These demons could not be killed, or at least that's what everyone thought. Till one day a god by the name of Apollo, told these people that on the twelfth of the 7th moon cycle a girl would be born with the ability to control all the elements. She would be the one who found the sacred blade that the goddess had hid. Once this girl found the blade she could kill the demons that plagued the land.

20 years after Apollo delivered the prophecy a little girl was born on the twelfth of the 7th moon cycle, her parents named her Myana. Myana was one of 2 baby girls born that day, so no one thought she was the one. Everyone believed that the other little girl Cassia was the one because she was born to one of the wealthy families. But no one could be sure because a child's element would not be revealed until the child was 3 days old. So as the whole world waited they were  6 years old but everyone said that it would Cassia who saved them all.

Because everybody believed Cassia was the savior she was trained in the art of fighting and thought everything she needed to know. Cassia's family even moved into the royal home meant for the savior. She was  called princess and savior. The grand council of elders had forgotten that Mayana was also born on the same day. Both  girls were brought before the grand council on the night before their  6th birthday. 

The next day there were camera crews filming both girls waiting to see if one of them would be their savior. Just as the clock struck noon Cassia let out a cry of fire and nothing else. But at the same time she did Myana let out scream of air and water. Then she cried out a breath of fire that made the earth shake. Finally she grew a flower from the floor only something a spirit user could do. Cassia and her family called Mayana's family liars.

 The council had seen what had happened made the announcement that she was the true savior. Then they told Cassie that she was no longer a royal and was to move out of the royal family's home at once. Cassia started bawling because she had just had her whole world messes up by this low life and her family. 

It took a week for Cassia and her family to move out. Once they had left the house was given to Mayana, along with the house she was granted royal status. When Myana was seven she was whisked away to the water masters home. There she trained with the masters day in day out. For 2 year she trained. Then once she had mastered the element of water, she was taken to the fire masters home. 

 She trained and trained, but no matter how hard she trained Myana could not master the element of fire. Finally after 3 years of intense yet fun training Myana finally masted the element of fire. Then she went on to the earth masters and air masters. Once she mastered the elements of earth and air, she went on to the spirit masters. By the time she was 16 years old she was a master of all 5 element, and that's where her true journey would begin.
