While girls were cleaning and having girl talks,guys were sitting in kitchen trying to figure out what to cook.
‘’Okay,how ‘bout we just order pizza?’’ Jeremy suggested.
‘’No way,they’re gonna kill us’’ Damon smirks.
‘’Let’s make lasagna.It’s simple and they’ll probably like it.’’ Stefan said.
‘’Yeah,I think I actually have all the things you need to make it.’’ Klaus said and started taking out meat and other stuff from fridge.
‘’So,Stef,did you get lucky tonight?In mean,you sounded so sure while you were singing.’’ Damon said and Stefan rolled his eyes but grinned.
‘’No,Jesus Damon,we’re friends.It’s not like she likes me too.’’
‘’Yeah,friends.Well,I have friends too,but I don’t like them the way you like Caroline.’’Damon teased.
‘’What?Stefan likes Caroline?’’Matt asks.
‘’Oh,yeah,you weren’t there.He confesed yesterday when we went to get booze and our stuff.’’ Jeremy shrugged.
‘’Wow.I mean even saying it sounds weird.You’re like best friends.I remember when you started hanging out cause she became vampire and I couln’t figure out how did you froim not even talking became best friends.’’ Matt said
‘’We weren’t even friends when she became vampire,I just helped her so she didn’t kill half of the town,but I got to know her better,and she reminded me of Lexi and we continued to hang out.’’ Stefan said while chopping garlic.
‘’She reminded you?As in not anymore?’’ Klaus asked.
‘’Lexi is dead.And I never liked Lexi the way I like Caroline.’’
‘’Oh.Why are you so sure that she doesn’t like you too?’’ Damon asked his brother.He saw the way baby vamp was looking at him but decided not to said anything and ask Elena if Caroline said something to her.Wait,what? He thought for him self.Since when does he care if Caroline likes Stefan.Maybe its just his subcontious trying to make him to make up to Stefan for ‘’stealing’’ his girl.And Damon knew Stefan deserved to be happy.
‘’So,Klaus.How come you didn’t try anything on Caroline?I was half expecting her to jump her second you see her.’’ Matt asked casually.
‘’Cause I promised her back when I came to Mystic Falls that time that I’ll walk away and never come back.I came back but I don’t want to push her.She had enough bad relationships and I’m going back to New Orleans in few weeks,maybe months,and I know she’s not ready not to come with me.I want her to at least be my friend if nothing else.And my best friend has a thing fo her.’’ Klaus said and looked at Stefan who just smiled slightly.
‘’You’re not here to kill us,right?’’Jeremy asked,half joking.
‘’No.Well if you annoy me,maybe.’’ Klaus said and guys chuckled
‘’If you said to me few years ago that I’ll be cooking with Original,two vampires and ex vampire hunter,I’d laugh in your face’’ Matt grinned.
‘’Tehnically,you’re not cooking.Neither is Jeremy.’’ Stefan replied and Matt and Jeremy high-fived.
‘’Oh,yeah,jut let the old men do the job,and sit our young asses down.’’ Damon said and all of them laughed.
‘’You are old.And that means that you have more experience than us in stuff like cooking.I burn water.’’ Jeremy smirked.
‘’Sometimes I wonder how I live in house with you.’’ Damon says and Stefan chuckles.
