{ A short introduction to the hufflepuff hero of our story, Philip Michael Lester }

Fear. It's a factor in everyone's daily lives.

Yet, for sixteen year old Phil Lester, the fear was different. It wasn't just regular uncomfortable fear like a spider in the corner of the room or the thought of failing on an OWL and screwing up your chance at a decent job or even splinching at Apparition lessons.

No, for Phil Lester the fear was everywhere he went. It was when he had at ask for the bathroom, walk through a crowd of students, when he had herbology class with the slytherins and when he was eating at the grand hall and it felt like all eyes were on him, though in reality nobody noticed him. It crawled around at night when it was dark and it would surprise him in the day when it was bright. Phil Lester couldn't escape the fear, and so he just learned to live with it. Witch was a shame as the fear swallowed any hope of finding peace, and it brought darkness and rain to the warmest, sunniest of days.

Phil Lester was what the other students called a freak. He had two parents that were too consumed by their jobs in the ministry of magic and were overjoyed to have their freak of a son sent away to boarding school for the semester. Phil Lester was neglected as a child, left with nannys and older boys to baby sit. Boys who would make his eyebrows into snakes that would whisper the word that scared him so much, slytherin, or his ginger hair turn into real flames and send Phil into panic. Phil Lester couldn't tell his parents though. His parents would never believe their anxiety-prone, 'over dramatic' (or adoring to them atleast), unwanted mistake, child.

Because to Phil, The rest of the students at hogwarts, Phil's family, and even some of the teachers, that's all he was.

YEP A NEW FANFICAL LOOK AT THAT. (I'm sorry I won't ever call it fanfical again. I know I can hardly even stay on top of these other ones but I want to get back into Harry Potter AND BELIVE IT OR NOT, A HARRY POTTER DAN AND PHIL CROSS OVER WAS MY FIRST FANFICTION WAY BACK WHEB I WAS IN THE SIXTH GRADE (I'm in the ninth now)

MAYBE ILL PUBLISH THAT IF THIS HITS 1K SOME DAY.

ANYWAYS SO YEAHH THIS BOOK IS NOW A THING.

I LIKE HAVING STORIES WITH MAGICAL TOUCHES ON THEM AND SEEING AS I HAVE NONE NOW THAT VAMPIRES IS OVER I WANT TO START ANOTHER. SO TADA.

IM SORRY. IM GONNA TRY AND REGULARLY UPDATE THIS AND KEEP IT FROM GETTING DUSTY IN MY DRAFTS LIKE WINDING (phan high school au) AND THE PASTSL PUNK THING (a pastel Dan and punk Phil with a twist).
