Hi everyone, I have a slight theory for the popular web series RWBY, as we all know that all the characters are based off of some kind of allusion to a fairy tail, for example Ruby is Little red, Yang is Goldilocks, Weiss is Snow White, and Blake is Bell from Beauty and the Beast, now as everyone knows Ozpin's inner group is based off of the Wizard of Oz, Ozpin obviously is the Wizard, Qrow is the Scarecrow, James Ironwood is the Tin Man, Professor Lionheart is the cowardly Lion, Glynda Goodwitch is well Glynda the Goodwitch, and I think that Summer was Dorothy, and Zwei is Toto, leaving Salem as the Wicked Witch, and I guess technically the Grimm are Salem's flying monkeys, anyway, there is something bothering me, RoosterTeeth claims that Tai-yang is Ruby's father but come on none of us really see it, we see Qrow as Ruby's father, and how I consider this is that in the story Dorothy said to the Scarecrow "That I will miss you, the most of all" she said that before she left Oz, and how I see it as the miss you part, is death, What I think is that Ozpin sent Summer, Qrow, Ironwood, Lionheart, and Zwei to kill Salem, now here's something else that I believe, Ruby is more than little red, I think that she is the Ruby Slippers, hence her name, 'Ruby' and that she is the next Dorothy, I think that Qrow and Summer fell for each other during their time at Beacon, possibly married, and then sent on this Suicide Quest to kill a Witch, while Summer was possibly pregnant with Ruby, however I'm sorry but I might have to take this to a darker route, when the group reached that Cliff that Summer's grave is, they where possibly attack, and I tend to think that Qrow kind of had a hand to Summer's fate, due to his Semblance is literally Misfortune, any way I think that before they got there, Summer gave birth to Ruby, and handing the Child to Qrow, maybe they did successfully kill Salem or maybe Salem had a master, leaving them to return home, which then makes me think that they had to go again to kill the witch, however this time Summer died, leaving Qrow how we see him today, an alcoholic, and wearing that tilted cross necklace which is a Nordic way for dealing with a loss, aka Summer, and so he possibly gave Ruby to Tai so he could raise him, maybe because he trusted Tai more than any one else, possibly because Qrow looked past Tai being with his sister, and Qrow possibly left Ruby because he didn't want to hurt her, his gilt of possibly causing Summer's death, and I think there is proof in Qrow's theme song, "Pain, Is your reward for being near me, Fate, Won't be your friend when I'm around, Blame, Me for the tragedies that follow, Grave, The situations that surround." I feel like that he is mostly talking to Summer/Ruby, and for the Blame part, I think that he was telling his Team about his semblance, and I have a feeling that Summer never blamed him for it all, she knew that he couldn't control his semblance, and maybe that's why Qrow fell in love with Summer, and there is more to the song that I am starting to think about, the lines "I'm a cursed black cat, I'm and Albatross, I'm a mirror broken, Sad to say, I'm your bad luck charm." Now as far as we have seen Blake, is a cat faunus, with black ears, and that her friends (usually blond,) are harmed in some way, and Qrow is comparing himself or some one else to a a bird that in reality is found in the southern parts of Antarctica, maybe he is talking about his and Winter's relationship, and that leaves me with the broken mirror, is that a reference also to the strange Schnee X Branwen relationship, and who is he talking to when he says "Sad to say, I'm your bad luck charm." is it Summer/Ruby/or is it Winter. and then there is this line that strikes me "You and I are not the same, You don't wan't the burden of my name." I know that he is talking to either Summer, Ruby, or Winter, on why he just brings bad luck to them, but the other part, makes me think that Qrow is in love with Summer, or Winter, and he was possibly asked by one of them to marry him, he possibly denied them, making Summer want him more, giving the possibility of Ruby, and if Winter did that, she might of been heart broken, and that's possibly why she seem's so emotionless, now there is something else that makes me question even more "I am no one's blessing." does that mean that Summer saw him as her good luck rather than bad luck, or does this line actually foretell a future event, maybe Ruby having a boyfriend when she is older, and her boyfriend want's to take Ruby's hand into marriage.

Well that's all for now, tell me what you think in the comments, thank you.
