It was 11:30 in the morning, a car was beeping just outside the apartment building. Soo Ah's eyebrows furrowed in annoyance as she opened her eyes. She lifted her body up and peeked behind the curtains to see who it was, to her convenience it was just her neighbor. She groaned tiredly and got up.

Stupid car. Why can't I just sleep in peace?

Soo Ah grabbed her phone and went into the bathroom. She placed it on the sink and brushed her teeth and hopped into the shower. When she finished, Soo Ah decided to check her notifications, she glanced past the small clock at the upper right corner of her phone.

Hmm.. a message from mom and- 11:45?! How long was I asleep for?! I'll be late for work!

She quickly went to the kitchen and grabbed an apple, grabbing her car keys and heading out the front door, only to walk right back in. She sighed and sat on her couch.

I'm not late for anything. I don't have a job.

She scratched her head in frustration as she bit into her apple. She wondered what she could do here in Korea. Soo Ah didn't want a part time job at a store or fast food place, she actually wanted to work her way into a career. But what could she possibly do here?

As Soo Ah looked around her small apartment, her eyes fell upon the small camera sitting on her table.

That's it!

Her eyes grew wide and she smiled excitedly. She got up and grabbed it, going through all the mediocre pictures in the small memory card. She recalled taking these on family trips, hoping they'd come out with a nice quality. Soo Ah knew what she wanted to do, all that was left was to look for a job opening.

She looked up different photo studios near her, that way it wouldn't be such a struggle for her to get to work. There were some that were about 30 to 45 minutes away from her area. She continued to scroll down the browser until a particular website caught her attention.

Tae Oh's Photo Studio

She clicked on the link and a nicely organized website opened, she read the small information box and frowned slightly. Apparently there were openings for event photography but they were looking for paid interns, and from there they would pick who they thought would be fit to continue doing events. Soo Ah was a little iffy about it, but decided to check it out anyways, maybe she'll be good at it, and besides it was 15 minutes away and 12 dollars an hour.

After putting in the address of the studio into her car's GPS, she made her way into the busy streets. To be honest, Soo Ah was nervous. Extremely nervous. She felt the butterflies in her stomach and her palms start to sweat. Soo Ah took deep breaths.

"Don't worry Soo Ah. You'll be alright." She said to herself in a calming tone. She turned up the volume of her radio and went through the different stations. Soon she stopped on one that was playing Ko Ko Bop by EXO. She sang along as her mind was taken off of the worrisome thoughts.

After a few minutes she made it. Parking her car in the parking lot of a small Plaza. She walked on the sidewalk as she passed by different stores. She stopped in front of the small plain doors with the words 'Photography Studio' written on it. Soo Ah was a bit relieved actually, thinking that this would be a lot easier seeing the appearance of the studio through the window, it wasn't as classy as she expected it to be.

She walked in confidently and smiled at the receptionist lady.

"Hello, welcome to Tae Oh's Photo Studio. Would you like to organize a photographer for a specific event? We're having specials on our Senior pictures right now if you're interested." She said as happy tone.

"Hi umm.. actually I came to ask about the intern jobs? I would like to apply for one." Soo Ah said timidly.

"Ahh yes our internships. You're in luck actually miss, this studio is in need of photographers for events and for now we're looking for people who have a basic idea of photographing and training them." She said straightforwardly. "You can leave your name and number on this list and we can call and arrange an interview with you whenever you'd like."

"That would be great! Thank you so much." Soo Ah exclaimed as she wrote down her information on the sheet of paper.

"Thank you Ms.Kim. We'll make sure to call you tomorrow." She smiled at Soo Ah genuinely. "I hope to be working with you soon."

Soo Ah smiled at her kindly as she walked out of the studio. She drove home with a small smile which never seemed to leave her face. Soo Ah sat on her couch, already thinking about what her interview is going to be like.
