Chapter 2
•Third Person's point of view•
"Have you seen her?" Anselmo Louis asked Hugo Miguel.
Four boys we're having some sort of a meeting like what our female protagonists had.
"Yeah." Hugo Miguel answered while typing something in his laptop.
"Really? When?" Crisostomo Iñigo butted in the conversation.
"Yesterday. She and her mother came in our house to see mama. I was running late so I couldn't say anything to them but I was able to take a glimpse of her, coming out from their car." Hugo Miguel answered making the other two swivel their gazes to Hugo.
"What was she like?" Anselmo curiously asked.
"Simple. I think I'm gonna like her. 'Guess, we'll jive." Hugo stated making the two nod.
"Kil, any say?" Iñigo asked the other man inside the room.
Sebastian Aqueel swifly turned his head to the guys' direction. Leaning back on his chair, crossing his legs, his answer is like this:
"Just don't get her pregnant early." With that answer of his, the others laughed hard while Hugo shook his head.
Aqueel grinned with the three's reaction.
"Really Kil? Pregnant?" Hugo asked, looking at the other guy intently.
"Kil's right. You can't say it, man. Kasal na kayo, there's no limits." Anselmo stated, nodding.
"As if they're gonna live together." Iñigo said, throwing sideward glance at Hugo.
"They will." Aqueel suddenly butted in, making the three turn to him.
"How can you be so sure about that?" Hugo asked his friend.
"Trust me. Wanna have a bet on it?" Grinning, he challenged his dear friends.
"No thanks, man." His friends shook their heads.
"Tita won't allow you though, if you don't want to live with the girl. She'll not tolerate that kind of system." Aqueel added.
"Yeah. Knowing tita, gusto niya 'happy family'. Y'know what I mean." Anselmo implied.
The three understood what Anselmo's trying to say.
"What's the final date of your girl's birthday?" Iñigo asked.
"First, she's not my girl and second, it's on Friday." Hugo answered.
"Good date." Iñigo commented, ignoring Hugo's first statement.
"Could you believe it? Ikakasal ka na, bro!" Anselmo said, patting Hugo's back.
"It's not yet final. She may back out." Hugo contradicted.
"She won't." Aqueel said with his finality tone to Hugo.
The other three wore the 'here-we-go-again-with-Aqueel-saying-things-as-if-he's-seeing-the-future' look.
"Why are you so talkative now, Kil? Good mood?" Iñigo asked.
Well, it's not like everyday, you'll see Sebastian Aqueel Fonacier bubbly and happy. Oops, bubbly is not a right term for him.
"Not really. I just have a feeling that something interesting will happen any day now." Aqueel said with a tone of amusement in his voice.
His friends just shook their heads as if they're so used to Aqueel's psychic talking.
