Chapter 6
•Leila's point of view•
I dunno why nor how we ended up in this set-up.
Well, I don't really mind it though.
"I'm Hildegard! Hilde na lang!" She said, smiling big to all of the people here at this table we're at. Typical Hildegard. Extrovert.
"Siya naman si Harmony." I saw Harm threw a bad look at Hilde. She wants to introduce herself but Hilde really can't hold back her tongue.
"At.. 'Eto naman si Leila!" She pointed at me and I just nodded briefly.
"Haha! Tahimik talaga 'yan 'e." Hilde remarked.
"Nice meeting you all. These are my friends." Said Hugo.
"Anselmo Marquez." The guy beside Hugo said.
"Iñigo Alcantara."
Of course, not only me would find it weird if you are to face-to-face with these people. Seriously? All of them are damn good-looking.
"Hi po! I'm Alyanna Fonacier. Kuya ko po sila" She said pointing at him and the guys beside him.
"Khalil. Kapatid rin po nila ako." The other girl politely said.
"Isaiah, this is my younger brother, Mikhail." He, I think lil older than us, introduced himself and his brother.
Khalil nudged him on the side, making him avert his gaze to us.
It's like she's saying, 'Introduce yourself, you oblivious human!'
"Sebastian Aqueel Fonacier. That's the name." He said, looking at me with a piercing gaze.
What's with this? Why can't I avoid his eyes?
I felt a pinch on my lap, and as I look, It came from Kim, who's giving me a meaningful look.
I just don't mind it.
Well, the party's still going on, if you're wondering. It's time for the elders to have fun.
"Uhm, ate? Pwede po ba magpa-picture?" I darted my gaze at Alyanna.
What? Picture?
"Alluka." I heard Isaiah growled, scolding the lil charming girl.
"Nah. It's fine with me." I finally spoke up, making them look at me with surprise.
"Talaga po?! Yey!" She came zooming at my side, holding an iPhone.
She clicked and clicked..and clicked. Too many pictures.
"May I ask, ba't ka nagpapicture kay Lei?" Harmony asked.
"Because she's so pretty! And her dance was soooooo amazing!"
"You got yourself a fangirl." Kimberly mumbled at my ear.
"'A, ate, naalala ko lang po. Sorry pala po 'dun sa kanina." She said, referring to the 'I-was-almost-squashed-by-a-car' incident.
"Ano 'yun?" Hilde asked.
"The incident I was in a while ago."
"Sila 'yun?!" They chorused.
"Ako lang po 'yun tsaka si kuya. Sorry po talaga."
"Nah, it's ok. It's my fault anyway."
"No, I'm sorry, it's not your fault, it's mine. I should have slowed down at the curve." Sebastian Aqueel said.
