As the week went on, Everyone was acting as they usually would, but Niall on the other hand was starting to freak out. He didn't know what to do, how he was going to do it and the most important thing he had on his mind was what was he going to give the love his life? He wanted to ask the rest of the girls in the house but they were too busy with the other boys. Then he remembered, one person, he had spent his whole childhood with. She was like his best friend. They never did anything without each other, this was before he was with Kailey of course.
Alex was her name, Niall and her went to the park together, went to school together, and even spent most of the day eating together. Niall did have a crush on her, but that was years ago. Kailey didn't know about her, because he didn't want to introduce everyone to her to quickly, even if Alex knew about her and was eager to meet her. So at that moment he grabbed his phone, and dialed Alex, he asked her if she can help him pick out something that she would love for her anniversary. Alex agreed to go to the jewelry store that evening with him.
Kailey wasn't home when Niall left to go pick up alex. She was gone with her friends to go shopping. Alex and Niall looked around for the perfect gift, but couldn't really find the perfect thing. They went thought 10 different jewelry store, until they found a crystal necklace. It was in the form of a open heart, and it the words "I love You" written right across the heart. Niall knew this was the perfect gift to give Kailey. Alex loved the necklace and had never seen something like it before. "That is amazing, she will love it" as she said holding it in her hands, with a half smile on her face. Niall looked at her funny, "Are you sure that you like it?" he asked. "Yes, why wouldn't i?" she answered. "The way that you said seemed as if you didn't, are you okay?" There was nothing coming out of Alex's mouth.
*But little did he know that she was only acting like that because of one word, Jealousy. She had never told him about how when they were little she had a crush on him, and the feelings became stronger as they became older and time went one. As she held the necklace in her hand she wished that Niall would be hers and she could just tell him how she feels. *
"Alex?" Niall said. Alex looked up at him and said "I cant do this." And started to walk away. Niall was confused and did know what had just happened. "Wait Alex where are you going?" he said. She just walked away faster. "Can you please hold this for me, ill come back to get it" Niall said to the man working at the counter. "Sure sir, have a nice day" he answered. "Thank you and you too." Niall said as he went after Alex.
Alex had walked out the door and Niall looked around everywhere for her and he couldn't see her. He looked around everywhere, every corner, and by every car in the parking lot. And then he ran behind the store and say her sitting and crying. Niall went up to her, "Alex?, are you okay?" he asked her as he offered her his hand to help her get up." Alex just got up by herself and said "Can you please just take me home?" she asked him, as she looked down at the ground. "Sure, lets go." Niall said back. As they got into the car, there was silence. Neither of them talked to each other for the whole car ride. As they got to the house Alex didn't move and inch. She turned to him and said, "I have to tell you something, but your not going to like it."
