Chapter 16: Rescue Mission Part 2

The team used Captain Cuttlefish's grapple stick to get out of the hole. Callie and Marie were gone when they got back up. So they ran out of the dungeon, looking for them.

"Callie!" Sheldon yelled. "We're coming for you!"

"Good luck with that," said someone from behind them.

"I don't want to turn around," said Jay.

"I don't think any of us do," replied Sheldon.

But they turned around to see Marie with a roller.

"A roller?" questioned Sheldon. "I thought she'd at least let you have a charger."

"It doesn't matter!" yelled Ben. "Let's get out of here!"

"We can't," said Sheldon. "We have to save Marie."

"How are we going to do this without hurting her," asked Jay.

"Go for the goggles!" Sheldon shouted.

Everyone ran at Marie and tackled her to the floor. But then they were all grabbed and picked up.

"Don't try to take the goggles off," said Callie. "I'm just going to stop you every time."

"We're not leaving until we save Marie," said Sheldon. 

"Then you'll be here a while," said Callie. 

"No we won't!" yelled Sheldon, trying to break free. "Okay, we probably will."

"Not if I can help it!" said a loud voice.

Callie turned around to see Mr. Grizz with three workers.

"Mr. Grizz?" asked Jay. "You can move?"

"Of course I can," he said. 

"You won't be moving anymore once I crush you!" yelled Callie, charging at Mr. Grizz and dropping the team.

Mr. Grizz dodged to the side.

"Come on," he said. "I haven't been crushed in my long years of living, and I'm not planning on happening now. Grizzco, attack!"

Clyde, Zack, and Cody, three Grizzco workers charged at Callie and Marie with their weapons. They shot ink everywhere, and paired with attacks from the other, Callie couldn't take it. She went to grab Marie, but Clyde jumped in the way.

"Nope!" he said, shooting her away.

"Arghhhh!" Callie yelled as she fled.

Clyde, Zack and Cody held down Marie as Sheldon pulled the goggles of of her.

"Ughhh," she groaned. "That was horrible. I never want to experience that again."

"You're fine. Now get up," commanded Mr. Grizz. "We got a traitor to find."

"Mr. Grizz?" Marie questioned as she got up. "Why are you here?"

"I saved your friends," he said. "They couldn't do anything against your cousin."

"Well, thanks," Marie replied. "Once we get Callie back, I'm going to destroy every pair of those goggles and free all of those Octolings."

"Sounds like a solid plan," said Sheldon. "Let's go!"

They got in Marie's car and drove after Callie, wherever she went.
