I am standing here
paralyzed.
I am,
a sequence of
small victories
and great defeats, and
I am so amazed
as much as anyone else
which has reached this point
without murdering anyone
or without being murdered•
without ending up
in a madhouse. While thinking
alone -again- tonight,
my soul
despite the old agony
is grateful
to all gods,
that weren't
here
for me
these times.
