This is Mirage, a hyena cutie that was designed by BigDragonMama! I did change a few small things, though. Mainly just a few details on the head so it didn't look too cluttered when I drew it. I got her back in July- I'm so heckin sorry that this took so long to get done. I actually started earlier, but I accidentally deleted my file halfway through and I only got back around to making a new one just recently. Anyway, I'm glad I finally finished!
This ref wasn't labeled so I could get in more details. If you're wondering what's all on there, I'll do a brief left-to-right explanation: very very first on the page is Mirage's colour palette. Then is the full-body of her. At the top of the page is the front side of both her tail and her ear. Directly below that is the backside view. Below that are Mirage's two different eye styles. I generally use the left one, and the right if she's feeling any intense emotion (surprise, rage, fear, etc.). She can also be drawn with just the right style if the left style doesn't work with an artist. Below the eyes are her accessories. None are required, but she's usually drawn wearing them. Up top besides the ear/tail references is her head from the side. In the corner is The Free-space Duck, because there wasn't anything to put there. Underneath those is her paw. Lastly is her accessory colour palette. All the small markings on her body aren't exact (stripes, spots), so I wouldn't break my heart trying to do them all just right.
Mirage was part of a raffle by Big Dragon Mama with two other hyenas. I didn't expect to actually win her! I took some extra time to develop her personality and everything. I'll just drop you guys a few facts here and probably do a full oc sheet later because I am drained my dudes. Two straight hours of work isn't too fun if you can't take a nice break afterwards. She actually turned out kinda edgy, lol. Hope I didn't ruin all of the creator's hopes and dreams for this kiddo. Here we go.
