Lina's P.O.V.:
I stirred a bit and turned to my left, hitting something soft...
My eyes slowly cracked open as I stifled a yawn and I relaxed when I saw it was just Sasuke that I bumped into...
"Hime sama, finally you're awake! We were so worried about you!" an old man who can passed off as my father due to his age, spoke from beside me as he hovered over me.
My eyes flew open and I quickly sat up straight, my eyes drinking in my surrounding...
"Wh-wh-where am I?!?" I half shrieked but the old man placed a finger onto his lips.
"Sssh! Sasuke is still asleep isn't he? You don't want to wake him up right?"
I quickly looked over to Sasuke before whipping my eyes back onto the old man.
"Who-who are-are... you..." I managed a hoarse whisper as the old man gave me a kind smile.
"I am Niwa Nagahide... I'm not sure whether my name is of recognition to one such as important as you Hime sama..." he answered as my brain registered his name..
"Na-na-nagahide?!? You mean Lord Nagahide of Lord Nobunaga's retainer?!?" I almost yelled out as he quickly covered my mouth with his hand.
"Sssh! Hime sama! Not too loud! Sasuke's sleeping, remember?" he whispered as I figured out this old man's game...
It's not about Sasuke waking up that he's afraid of... It's of me freaking out that he doesn't want...
So with a nod I gave him my agreement that I won't panic anymore...
He removed his hand and gave me another kind smile..
"Yes, I am Lord Nobunaga's most trusted retainer... That's because I kind of played a role in raising Lord Nobunaga since he was a toddler..."
"I-I don't get it..." I interrupted. "So the ones who kidnapped me from Ueda castle... They were under your orders???"
"Well... Yes..."
"But why?"
"I'm sure you've heard of the rebels' intention of wanting the royal family restored instead of having Lords to govern Japan instead?"
Maybe if I make him talk more I'll buy more time for Yukimura kun and the others to find me... I'm sure they're searching for me right this instant...
"I-I don't quite follow you..."
"*sigh* Hime sama... I'm sure you're much smarter than this... Either you're buying time so your husband's clan will come to your rescue or you seriously lack of intelligence..."
