Yukimura (SLBP PART 2)

Chapter Thirty-One

It all happened within seconds...

Saizo showed his excellent skills as a ninja as he reached for the sword on his left side, the one he's never used before...

He swiftly pulled it out and used the sword to sever the head of the Kotaro holding the sickle over his heart and the brown haired ninja disappeared with a poof...

Saizo didn't waste a second and used his right hand holding his own sword to aggressively push back the original Kotaro, his left sword beheading the guy...

But that figure too disappeared in a puff of smoke...

Saizo registered everything before Yukimura and Lina could as he rushed towards the sickle aimed for Yukimura...

He was a little late though as the sickle managed to graze Yukimura's spine before Saizo's left sword reached it first, making a ringing clanging sound due to the friction...

"Ow fuck that hurts!!!" Yukimura cursed out as he felt a trickle of blood flowing down his back...

"Don't be a baby little lord. The sickle only grazed your spine." was Saizo's curt reply.

"Hey it's still a micro cut and the spine is a sensitive organ you know! I'm already feeling numb from my torn ankle and now this new wound is killing me!" Yukimura retorted as he then bit his lip to hold back the pain.

"Then why not you save whatever energy you have left by shutting your trap like what I've been telling!" Saizo snapped, earning a small smile from Yukimura as he turned his head to look at Saizo.

"I knew I'll get through to you... Best friend..."

"..."

"That's the second time you interrupted me Lord Saizo! Stop undermining me now would you!" the original Kotaro before him scowled.

"Sorry... Can't do that... My best friend and the little lady need to live..." Saizo answered simply.

"That's a laugh! Aren't you ashamed of yourself! Wielding the weapon of your best friend who died for you?! Your hands are still tainted by his blood!!!" Kotaro spat, continuing to provoke the silver haired ninja.

But instead... Saizo's crimson eyes burnt with a fire of determination as he spoke...

"Not anymore... Because my other best friend has already forgiven me... Because I... have forgiven myself..."

Kotaro's eyes widening was the last thing he ever did as Saizo channelled his chakra to superhuman speed, making the latter unable to anticipate what would happen next...

Saizo Kirigakure rushed towards him, plunging his sword into Kotaro's abdomen and using his best friend's sword to behead him...

"Nii san!!" Hotaru yelled out as he rushed towards Saizo, who was trying his best to piggyback Yukimura...

"Fuck Yukimura did you put on weight?!?" Saizo grunted, as he fell back onto his knees.

Yukimura frowned as he slapped Saizo's right shoulder.

"Hell no I didn't! These are the weight of muscles I tell you!"

"Muscles my ass. I could have sworn those were blubber fats I was carrying.." Saizo murmured but Yukimura heard it nonetheless, making Saizo earn a knock to his head.

"Stop complaining and carry your lord now Saizo!" Yukimura ordered with childish anger as Hotaru now stood before them.

"Nii san!! We were looking all over for you!" he panted as Saizo slowly raised his eyes to meet his younger brother, Yukimura still straddled on his back...

"As you can see, a blubber of fats was preventing me to meet you guys..."

Lina giggled at the scene before her as Hotaru sighed, running his hand through his silver hair.

"God we were all so worried about you guys! The war is over, Nagahide has been captured but you three were missing from the meeting point!!! Even Lord Masayuki was damn worried!! But he was mostly worried about Lady Sanada though..." Hotaru ranted as Lina narrowed her eyes, crossing her arms.

"Is it because now he knows that I'm pregnant?" she huffed as Hotaru gave her a wry smile.

"No... He told something to Nobuyuki sama and Nobuyuki sama told me and Yuki already... But he wishes to speak to you and Yukimura sama once you guys get back to Ueda castle and are rested up..."

Lina was about to protest but decided to hold it back as she sighed and nodded her head.

"Fine. Come on. Let's head back. How did you find us anyway Hotaru?"

"Oh nii san's crow found Momofuku and Lord Masamune's falcon and we just only met up with all three birds... So yea..."

"Hey you guys! Are you forgetting something here?!?" Saizo growled out as Yukimura still sat atop him, with his arms crossed and pouting.

"Come on Saizo! I can't walk and I am your lord so I order you to carry me!"

"You're too heavy Yukimura!"

"Hotaru! Come and help me!" Yukimura yelled out.

"Sometimes I honestly wonder who's the pregnant one, Yukimura or me." Lina sighed out as Hotaru chuckled and walked back to his nii san, bending down to his eye level...

Hotaru's eyes turned emotionless as he spoke in a deep enchanting voice...

"You will carry Yukimura sama back to Ueda castle..."
