The Other Half

Luhan and Kyungsoo with their sensitive ears were able to hear the loud thud. They gave each other a look. Kyungsoo whistled to alert the others for another attack.

"Stay here!" Baekhyun instructs as Kai is almost done removing the blackberry bomb. He cautiously reach out to the corridor and bounce himself across the wing and landed safely near the library. Meanwhile Kai immediately took cover the moment he finished, rolling Kris under the bed beforehand as he is still unconscious.

Sehun and Lay hurled themselves inside the library, waiting for any reaction from the intruders. 2 minutes passed without any sign.

"This is not good, we have to do something. Send your luminous." Lay immediately obeys his order. An illuminating light reflecting a lion which emerges from Lay's palm.

The lion blinks its eyes, turning its way around and make a run passing the wall in between the rooms.

Lay's eyes glistening in the dark focusing the view through his luminous.

It was a dimly lighted room with bamboo slides in between the beds. The luminous can be easily spotted due to its strong lighting nature. It worth the risk if he could ever get anything happening inside. He hides behind a tall wardrobe, scanning around and found them unconscious. He look around again to confirm the foe. But no one around, which is ridiculous. Wait...

Lay plucked his fingers, switching off the luminous.

"I saw a pair of small red dot. What do we do now?" Lay's reporting.  Sehun fell silent for a minute.

A dweller boggart?

Its safe to assume the enemy might not be appearing in human physics. Sehun gave out signals to the rest of the team and they closing in near the library.

"We need a plan." Sehun whispered urgently. Suho immediately took out his Planner and light blue translucent field emerged the moment he turned on the device.

"Operation scale: 4, personnel: 8, Opponent scale: max, Assortion: Personnel speciality, Specialty: 1 P, 2 LH, 1 LiH, 1 K, 1 SS, 1 SK, 1 LH." Suho inputting his voice into the device. In less than 10 seconds, 8 letter pieces scattered around the house blueprint.

"Listen carefully, we have to capture the enemy. It is way to risky to let them escape and be careful. This is an order." Suho reminded all of them and they shuffled to their own position.

Tao shifted into a falcon and dive through the staircase toward the front yard. Meanwhile, Xiumin activated his armory into invisible mode and prepare to breakthrough the girls' room on Luhan's signal.

Meanwhile, Luhan and Lay were pointed to be at the fourth alley of book racks from their meeting point. Nothing significant other than a perfect square . They both give a discerning look at the narrow edges of a square area sizing around two persons. They pressed simultaneously on each two corner of the square before being sucked inside the chamber.

"Woah, crazy!" Luhan steadies himself when they got thrown into a series of interconnecting chamber. Both of them nod to each other and carefully thread forward. When they are right under the girls' room, they squatted down.

"Okay, Lay send your lion up and see how we can break into the room." Lay immediately obey the order. His eyes light up sharing view from his luminous. He looks at the same spot where he spotted the red dot earlier but it's no longer there.

In a blink of moment, he detected a shuffling sound just behind his luminous and barely dodge some metallic splinters being thrown from one direction.

He instantly maneuver the lion behind one of the bamboo slides. At the same time, he quickly scanned the area to identify the door so Xiumin can reach all four of them that was locked inside.

It's close. Damn! I need Luhan to distract the attacker.

Lay nod his head twice and Luhan straight away recognize the signal and send his deer up. He quickly put on the stealth mode going straight to the area marked by Lay.

Clank

Quaint metal chink heard when his luminous bumping to an object. A moment of silence as both of them anxiously waiting for an after-effect.

Out of sudden, the red dot starts to blink rapidly

BOOOMMM

Everything happened so fast, the glass panel shattered to pieces and slight shake follows right after the explosion. Then the room was dead quiet for a moment before a deafening ringing amplified throughout the house.

"Arghh darn it! What's happening?!" Both ears covered their ears from the blasted ringing.

While they are still in panic, Luhan still try to manipulate his luminous to access the current situation.

Light smoke emanates from the small rubble of the exploded area. He went to look for Cl in order to obtain master security access which is her thumbprint. He scanned and duplicate the intricate details.

"Send help, target 1 clear." Luhan voiced over once he finished scanning the area. Lay nudged his side.

"What do you see?" Lay gave a questioning look as his luminous has been pushed back, providing no visual. As soon as the message delivered, Suho's voice boomed back giving orders.

"Let's go!" Luhan urged Lay to move back to the library from where they came earlier.

Cautiously, Kyungsoo retreats back to the second level after receiving instruction from Suho. He will be meeting up with Xiumin, Lay and Luhan.

He threading his way slowly when a pointed item pricked him on the back. He halted almost immediately, turning his head but the sensation penetrates deeper.

Was it needle or sharp weapon?

Kyungsoo analysing his situation. He looks down, observing the shadow but there wasn't any. No breathing sound noticed as if no one behind him.

He is determined to make a move and thinking for a right one. In a split second, he flipping backward blindly and the sharp item grazed his back.

That's sting

He is bewildered as nothing comes out in front of him.

"Response, Target 2 in E. Status X" Kyungsoo managed to mumble the words right after a blow coming for his left ribs.

"Argh!" Then he fall with a thud after another blow landed on his neck.

"F*ck! Tao, Baekhyun through the chambers. Sehun, to the external route." Suho firing orders.

Just what the hell is this

Xiumin has been on invisible mode ever since the explosion took place.

"Double LH approaching, SK in view. Request for cover." Xiumin in guarded position and a luminous deer coming close.

He opened up the reset box of the room security to get a clearance. The deer then portrays the same image captured early to the clearance system. Slow humming indicates successful master security reset.

As soon as Xiumin steps in, both Luhan and Lay approaching to help him moving the members inside.

They float the members with luminous light to transfer them across the hall, aiming right at the room in which Kai and Kris have been hiding.

"Target 1A clear." Xiumin updated the rest. The door was ajar as soon as the message reached Kai, letting the floating body drifts inside.

"Target 3 initiation. Baekhyun, Suho securing perimeter. Chanyeol go!" - Suho
