That night

Chaerin kept changing her position. She was tired and wanted to have a good sleep but something keep bugging her.

She saw a dark loop in front of her. Swirling dark and becoming monstrous time by time as if it was ready to swallow her inside. She tried not to panic because she believes this is JUST A DREAM.

It is getting ridiculous that she wanted to wake up from her nightmare right there at the moment but she cant.

What is happening to me?

Those swirling things finally vanished and she was left in a dusty space. In front of her, a person is lying helplessly on the floor with heavy breathing. Someone that she knew very well. It is her.

Chaerin dont have any idea what the hell is going on right now!

The moment she tried to step closer suddenly a bright light blinded her eyes, generating a dreadful screams from the person in front her that can ripped her ears anytime. She had to hunker down, pressing her palms hard to cover both of her ears plus that she cannot see through the light.

She really think this dream is on another level. The feeling is mutual, she never been scared to death like this before.

Chaerin jolted from her sleep, she grasped her hair to the back. The other two had drawn into a deep sleep but she felt uneasy. It might be normal to feel that way for someone that just been through a nightmare. She walked away from her bed and went to the nearest window panel. She looked on the dim-lighted road and the sound of the wind rustles through the dead leaves can be heard from their room.

She trailed her eyes along the way until she saw a figure lying on the ground.

Shit! Are we under attack?

She ran to the members and wake them up. As soon as they opened their eyes, she make a shush sign on her lips. Dara and Minzy quickly understood the secret code. They reached out their emergency weapon and escalated into action. Dara slowly open the door afraid that their attackers might already gain control against the house.

She signaled them to keep moving, she led the rest to hide behind the pillars. Minzy make use of the remaining time she got to install her dart gun with Dara's tears. They always prepared for an attack like this and fortunately her tears act the same as any strong drugs properties. Little dose can put people down in instant while higher dosage definitely can kill.

Dara proceed to inspect the lower floor to find any visible hints. Cl on the other hand crossed to the opposite wing to warn the boys after she exchanging gaze with Dara to confirm the situation.

Cl removes the door lock by entering pass code to unable the system.

Of course she aware how a boy would be in bed. Privacy doesn't matter anymore, she snapped her fingers near Suho and Lay ears. For a special force units, it is common to have a sharp sense and high sensitivity with their surrounding.

Lay automatically comes to his full mode on, flipping Cl on the floor and Suho just come in time with a small knife on her throat.

"Okay boys, settle down. We have more important things to do." Cl already expecting this to happen but they are far too fast. She really feels annoyed and almost rolling her eyes toward them.

"My goodness! I'm sorry." Suho pulled away the knife and helped her get up.

"Come on. I think we are under attack, gather your boys." She said in a low tone before leaving both of them to finish the task.

Cl move to the lower floor when she noticed Dara and Minzy were gone from their previous spot. She slowly stepping down and spotted Dara behind the curtain eyeing the house compound while Minzy getting ready to step outside. Cl composed her steps to where Minzy is and joined her outside.

"Hey,did you find anything?" She ducked beside Minzy behind the Exo's van.

"Doesn't seem like anyone broke into the house yet but I saw someone coming down after I send report last night. He might be Kris or Kai since he is coming from the third room." Minzy answered while scanning around.

"I saw someone lying just next to the gate. That's why i warned all of us. When you said that, it might be one of the boys been knocked out over there. I cant be sure of it because i let Suho and Lay to wake up the rest." Cl testified her finding before.

Minzy pulled a disbelieved look at her.

"Don't worry, they are also from the special forces unit. They know how serious this is. We should focus on finding out who was knocked down." Cl knew Minzy was being extra careful with their current state as they cannot afford to lose anyone again.

They skipped pass the parking area and step forward near to the surveillance area. Minzy climbed up the structure to access better view of the area outside the gate. She ushered Cl to make a move when she discovered the said person is still there. She was confident that he is the same guy she saw last night.

Cl pushed one side of his body to face him upwards however his face is covered with a thick black slime as if he is wearing a black mask. Then Minzy came to aid her.

"What happen to his face? How did he breathe?" Cl tried to scraping the slime off his face.

"I dont know. Come on, we should take him inside." Minzy helped to carried him inside. They encounter Dara standing at the door face with a worried face.

"Is it Kris? He is nowhere to be found. Omo! Whats on his face?" Dara gestured Chanyeol and Sehun to put Kris inside.

"I guess so. I don't have any idea about that. Oh yeah, can you put the protection spells in front. Maybe our enemy know one or two things about spells." Cl fixed her ruffled clothes.

Luhan came to Minzy and Cl when Dara left.

"We need to work faster. You guys should meet our shrubber." He said and brought them to the Exo boys which circulated around unconscious Kris.

Luhan nodded to Kai.

"This slimes is made up from blackberry bomb. Don't worry, it doesn't harm but the thing is, viscosity of this material increased and eventually blocked our respiratory flows after 2 hours. Only African star grass can be used to revert it to liquid. I need help to collect them as fast as we can, anyone can show me? For the meantime, can any of you think of a way on how to maintain his breathing...?" Kai looked back and forth at the girls.

Minzy cleared her throat.

"I'll come with you. I am as good as a help in our forest. We have a modified nasal cannula in here. Cl can show you guys how. Come on, lets get going." Minzy led the way with Kai following her.

"Please. Be careful." Cl patted her shoulder before both of them went out through the back door. Minzy replied with a nod.

Not far from the front gate, a pair of eyes keep watching Dara finishing her spells.

He put a shield on his appearance and walked out of there. He slowly approached Dara while muttering spells to shield himself. A normal spell weaver cannot tell if someone is using shield around them and that makes them less dangerous compared to a Chrome heart.

He stand close to her left side and revealed himself.

Dara turned around and was about to pull the trigger of her dart gun to the enemy, however he is much more faster when he pinned his two fingers on her forehead. Dara didn't know what happen but she for sure cannot move at all.

No!

He is the least person she ever wanted to see. She thought he's dead already but here he is getting more powerful.

"Hi noona." He mustered a grin seeing her whole again.

Then she blacked out for whatever reason.
