It was early in the morning when you dressed yourself back into the appearance of a Captain, and so, you decided to pay a quick visit to check on your dear sister. As you walked through the captain's hall, you heard nothing but the wood creak under your boots. Buttoning up your coat, you took your time walking down the narrow hallway. Dawn was just breaking through the horizon, and so it created a soft and red glow as it seeped through the windows. The golden hour was your favourite time of day, and since you were in a place far from the equator, you had the pleasures to indulge yourself in it for an extended amount of time.

Walking down to the second level, you stroll over to your sister's cabins before knocking on it gently. When there was no answer, your knuckles only hammered even louder on the wood. You were beginning to worry and was contemplating on barging down the door yourself. However, you were interrupted by your thoughts. The door behind you opened, and you turned to find an irritated Natalya. Although she was apparently not happy with the unexpected noises, her expression softened when she saw you. However, with an annoyed tone, she asked, "first your sibling and now you?"

Giving her a puzzled look you, question her, "What do you mean?" You turned your body to face her as you leaned against Elora's door.

The Belarusian only sighs as she also leans on the frame of her doors, "your first mate was making a lot of noise and was scrambling around her room until she finally went downstairs." She eyes the sets of stairs at the end of the hall, "wasn't long ago either."

"That's...really specific considering you were in your room the entire time, am I correct?" It was in your nature to question and suspect people. It wasn't as if you were untrusting, you had always been curious and asked a million questions to understand the picture in front of you.

"She was loud." Natalya enunciates the last word. "If you heard it, you can tell from just the shuffling of her feet that she was in a rush. Either that, maybe she's excited or-"

        "Nervous." You finish.

She nods, "It's only natural for someone to be nervous for a competition where you can get killed. But, doesn't she have the skills to survive?" Natalya questions. She shifted her position and was now standing a little taller by her door. It was evident that she was eager to know the answer; she must want some information on her opponent.

Your eyes slightly squint at her behaviour. You weren't going to admit that your sister is scared to fight, from the looks of it, it seems as if Natalya would use fear against her to cloud her mind. Making up a lie, you answer, "don't be ridiculous. We risk our lives every day in the sea, the thought of potentially getting killed isn't foreign to her. She must have scrambled in the morning to train herself." You saw Natalya slightly slouch in disappointment. Seeing this from the corner of your eye, you only smirk as you continue. "She was always the one to grab a head start when she sees the opportunity, and she never was the quiet type anyway."

"I see," she responded to your statement; convinced.

Pushing yourself off of the wood behind you, you announce, "Well, I'd better go look for her then."

Turning on your heels, you began to stroll down the hallway when the Belarusian stops you. "Do you mind if I join? To train of course."

You shrug, "I don't see why not." As she retires back into her cabins, you immediately rush down to the main level.

You found your sister nervously sitting at a table, drumming her fingers against the wooden surface as she stared down at her loaf of bread. Elizabeta was seated at the table across from her as she filled the atmosphere with light conversation, but your sister didn't pay much attention to the discussion.
