THE WINDOW crack in the middle made the sun rays step inside the bedroom of his. A groan escaped his lips as his eyes opened slightly.
He almost scream when he met those no-life eyes, staring at him in an intent way. His heartbeat continued to ran back and forth as his hand moved onto his chest.
"You scared the hell out of me, Maddie!" he said, pushing her off of him then stood up from the bed.
Their clothes were scattered everywhere, like a tornado visited his room. Shaking his head, he grabbed his clothes and wore it in a quick pace.
He, then walked out of the room leaving her still lying on the bed. When he approached the kitchen, he decided to cook breakfast for the both of them.
Of course, he still cared for the girl, but other than that there is nothing. He really wanted to slip away from her and end every connections they had.
As he flipped the bacon upside down, two pair of hands wrapped around his waist softly. It startled him, but not that much to even cause the bacon to jump off of the frying pan.
He heard her sniffing his bare back. "You really smell so good." Her hands travelled on his chest, down to his stomach level. "I love you, Bradley."
The touch of her hands made him realize that the bacons were getting too cooked. He turned the stove off and stared at the burned bacons and sighed in utter shame.
Removing her hands from his body, he pulled away and looked at her with furrowed brows. "See that? Burned bacons, Maddie! That means, no breakfast!" He groaned while walking toward the vacant chair, then sat down. "You know damn well that I have no work at all, that's why I'm balancing my budget," he said as he massaged his temples.
Her expression turned into a grim one. She ran toward him and hugged him in a frantic way. "I'm so sorry, Bradley! I-I'm going to give you my allowance if you want." She ran upstairs and did something. Afterward, she came back with her bag. "Here. Take this, Brad," she said as the wallet stood on her palms.
That made him angry, causing his hand to slap the wallet away from him. "I don't need your money. I've had enough of your bullshit, Maddie! Get out of my house right now." He grabbed her arm in a tight manner and dragged her out of his porch. "Don't you ever show up again, or I'll call the cops and make you and your brother be arrested for threatening me."
Her eyes widened, then ran toward him with tears starting to fall out of it. "I can't lose you! Please, I don't care about my money! Just don't do this to me!" she said, kneeling in front of him then wrapped her arms around his foot.
Being so irritated at her pleads, he shook his foot violently to get out of her tight grip. When she was no longer on his foot, he ran upstairs to get her things then came back to her, throwing it outside of his door.
He pointed her an index finger before she could even speak. "I don't want to see your face from now on. Do you hear me?" he hissed, venom lacing his sharp voice.
She continuously sobbed as her figure stayed on the ground. He can't help but give her a sympathetic look while she scrunched her knees and rocked back and forth.
But if he ever pitied her, she would only do this anytime she wants. So, he did what he thought was right and closed the door in front of her.
He was about to walk away from the door, when he heard her banging through it in a most petrifying way; as if some psychotic person banged repeatedly on his door like a mad woman losing her mind.
It is too loud, his eardrums can't barely stand the earsplitting sound of it. When he turned around to face the window beside the door, he felt a cold sensation running throughout his body that made him shake in fear.
Maddie was looking at her through the window as tears continued to stream down her cheeks. What made him scared was, she was grinning so wide with enlarged eyes, like she was being possessed by an evil spirit.
His entire body froze as he stared at her state. Having a little courage, he strode toward the window and closed the curtains so quick, as if his life depended on it.
Minutes had passed, and her silhouette started to fade away. He felt relieve when she was finally gone; he never felt so terrified in his entire life, just now.
That day, he didn't get out of his house.
