Chapter 4

Jacob POV :

When Nessa said she wasn't talking to me she was serious. She hadn't talked to me or looked at me when we were doing patrol and she didn't let me in her head. It was frustrating. Her ignoring me made my soul ache. It was deeper than a heart ache. I had patrol tonight and I needed to have it with Nessa. I needed to talk to her more than ever. She was my Bestfriend. I needed to talk to her. I walked into Sams house. I'm glad it wasn't his day to have Nessa and Vince. I walked into the kitchen seeing him and Emily kissing.

"Oh god my eyes." I covered them hearing the two erupt in laughter

"What's wrong Jacob?" he asked looking at me.

"I need a huge favor." I pleaded sitting in a chair

"What is it?" He asked looking suspicious.

"I need to get on patrol with Nessa tonight." I sighed hoping he'd say yes

"Fine." he smirked and shrugged

"Fine? that's it?" I asked this was unbelievable.

"Yeah fine. " He smirked "Plus I heard some human was going to ask her out tonight so now she has an excuse to say no." he laughed and smirked

"SAM!" Emily yelled like that wasn't something he was supposed to know.

I laughed and walked out the door smiling extremely hard and walking to school.

I saw Nessa talking to Jason. Jason was a local tall white guy. He had blue eyes muscles and black hair. His smile curved in one corner and his teeth was straight due to his braces eight grade year. I walked over just as he was about to ask her out.

"See you Jason I have to go." Nessa said a about to walk away but I stepped in front of her.

"But I have to ask you something." Jason grabbed her hand and she blushed. On her right wrist was a charm bracelet with a wolf on it. The wolfs color was the color of Embrys fur. That made me jealous. She should have my wolf on the bracelet.

"I'll see you tonight Nessa 8-1." I smirked at her and she looked angry. She brushed past me to her car and got in slamming the door. I watched her buckle her seat belt and scream while hitting the steering wheel. I made her that upset. GO ME! I laughed and ran into the woods on my home.

8:00 on patrol.

Nessa POV:

I walked out my house with a bag filled with extra clothes. I wore sweatpants no shoes and a crop top. I didn't have on any underwear but I didn't care. I walked to my dads house were everyone meet for patrol. I walked along the shore feeling the sand in between my toes. My silky brown hair flowing in the wind. I smiled as I decided to catch a workout run. I ran along the beach to my dad's house.

"You're late babygirl." my dad said and the pack laughed at my nickname

"Sorry I just had to take my time on the beach. Its just so beautiful at night.

"Okay drama queen." Embry smirked and Paul and Quil laughed. I smirked and crouched down low like my dad taught me when we were racing each other in the woods the other day. I'm supposed to shake my tail so I just move my hips from side to side and I leap tackling Embry to the ground and we both erupt in laughter as he wraps his arms around my waist. Embrys small brown eyes lock to my brown eyes and we just stare at eachother. It isn't like the first night I phase when I went to talk to Jacob. It was like my whole world was standing still and we were the only two people on earth. That's night I could honestly feel my heart stop and jump out my chest into Jacobs chest. It hurt because even after that night he was still hanging with Bella. My dad told me I imprinted on Jacob that he was my soulmate and was supposed to feel the same. I just think Jacob is blind because of Bella.
