Crystalized necklace

I was simply runing around the battle field, trying to lower my presence against the demons. From the distance, I saw a man struggling to move due to his wound so I quickly rushed to him and began healing him, "Behind you!" he yells while I didn't bother looking back and tried my best to push the man away while my back was scratched.

"A-are you okay?" I ask him while he nodded his head in shock, "Your back-" he started but he was cut off when I felt the presence of that demon behind me so I quickly dodge to wherever, hoping I dodged it which to my luck, I did, "Here wear this. It will hide your presence against demons so until you're better, stay here for a while" I took off my coat and threw it at him while taking out my weapons. This time, it wasn't knifes anymore but rather they were back to being a pair of black guns.

No, I don't have time to think about whatever is going on with my gun.

The demon in front of me switched form. At first, he was just a flying demon bird but next thing I know he was a man with black wings and an all black outfit, "Be careful! That's a human demon!" the man says behind me.

Human demon? What the hell is a human demon supposed to be?

When it began to fly towards me, I began to panic thinking of what to do. He was too fast for me to follow and my reaction was too slow. From my chest, I notice something glowing as I was ready to peek at it until Blake appeared in front of me and slashed the human demon with ease, "Blake?" I question, my beating heart calming down.

When he turned around, his eyes were pure red and he was breathing heavily, "D-don't loose control" he huffed, grabbing ahold of both my shoulders then hugging me the next. I thought he was hugging me for whatever reason but instead, he took off my precious necklace and I felt an incredible throbbing feeling on my chest, "W-what did you.... do" I coughed, both of us on the ground, struggling to breath.

Before I knew it, my guns have turned to shining icey blue while Blake had a pair of two golden eyes and black wing. He was holding a black sword with shadow aura emitting off it, "Mel, just do what I tell you to do" Blake tells me while there was a feeling of loyalty for him.

I could disobey his words if I wanted but there was something... Something that tells me I shouldn't do that and something telling me his orders were absolute. No rather than his orders... There was another feeling lingering in me that's willingly making me attached to him to the point of loyalty. What is this feeling?

"Kill the demons on the left side. I'll take on the rest" he says while I nodded my head and calmly shot my gun which let out a blast rather than a bullet. It still amazes me how I have such poweful gun. When I noticed someone behind me, I flipped my guns as they turned into a blue sword. I pierced the enemy behind me with ease and before I knew it, every single monsters were dead. My weird weapon had returned to being a pair of knives and I have fallen on to the floor, feeling extremely drained.

"Good girl" Blake hugs me from the side while patting my head. I was unsure wether to feel shy or angry but I was too tired to even react to whatever he was doing with me. As I look over to the crowd of people who were supposedly fighting, they all gave us a stare of shock. Why? Probably because Blake and I just took out an entire ambush of demons.

"Magnificient!" The principal clapped, walking over to us while everyone continued to stay silent. Wanting to see more of the truth. As for me, I had a hard time breathing, "L-let go of me. It's hot" I told Blake while he simply sent me a blank stare.

"You should hurry and give her your blood or else she'll die" the principal says. Blood? Me? Why should I drink his blood?

I wanted to ask them all these questions filling my mind but I could not even let out a single word as Blake bit his bottom lip. When there was blood dripping from his lips, he sucked it and placed his lips with mine. At first, I suddenly had all the energy to slap him until I noticed he was trying to make me drink his blood. As much as I hated it, I could not resist as it was so tempting and fulfilling. In the end, after drinking his blood, I regained all my lost energy.

"What just happened?" I ask when Blake had pulled his lips away.

"Exactly what just happened. If you use great amount of power, you will definitely need his blood" the principal explains though I was still not getting the picture. "Let's see. to put it simply, you need his blood to survive"

Haaaaaah? Excuse me?

"Wait hold on, why would I even need his blood? It's not like I made a contract with him or something!" I yelled, accidentally venting out my anger at the principal. When I had realize my actions, I didn't allow a room for anyone to speak as I ran away while everyone's gaze follow every movement I made.

Haha, this is some kind of joke right? Blood? What, is this some kind of vampire story now? What a laugh. This is stupid.

'You can't runaway from the truth' I heard a voice

"Who's there?!" I jump in surprised. It was a common reaction for me to look around helplessly even though no one was around.

The voice that I heard never came back so I continue to make my way back to the dorm. But as expected, I was lost. Tree's were surrounding me, not even a cricket were heard but only the ominous sound of wind brushing past my body. The eerie feeling was similar during the test of weapons but this time, somewhere in the shadows where the sun did not shed any light, I somehow and someway felt as if someone was there.

"I need to hurry and go back" I whispered to myself, following the direction of the wind since it was my only hope of coming back to where I came from. But to my answered suspicions, there a masked man who came out from the shadows. His black cloak covered his body and that outfit alone made him look passable to be a ghost.

"W-who are you?" I ask nervously. Putting the crazy assumption of him being a ghost aside. Besides, ghost doesn't exist right?... Right?....
