Readers pov- I was laying in my bed at home when I got a call from Jeff. Jeff is my boyfriends, Nick's, best friend. "Hey Jeff. What's up?" I questioned. "Yeah hey (y/n) ummm Nick is sick can you come to Dalton to take care of him. Please?" He sounded really concerned for his best friend and since I'm homeschooled and I'm already done with my classes so why not. "Yeah I'll be there soon." "Ok thanks so much (y/n)." I get into my car to go to the drug store to get him some crackers, juice, tissues, and medicine. As I walk into the store I walk through getting the essential stuff, but of course I got distracted and start to look at the movies and some games. i grabbed a couple of each knowing he would be bored. After finally getting out of the store I head for Dalton. I make my way to Nick and Jeff's dorm room. I saw Trent and David on my way so, I waved to them before getting to the door. I knocked quietly on the door not wanting to wake Nick if he is sleeping. Jeff answered saying "Good luck. You can stay here tonight if you want I'll be staying with David and Trent till he's not sick any more!" I chuckled at his behavior. "Ok thanks Jeff." Jeff smiled and grabbed his bag to leave. I saw Nick laying in bed with a washcloth over his forehead staring at the ceiling. My poor baby looked really sick. I walked over to him and give him a little kiss on his forehead. "Hey baby. How are you feeling?" I asked softly. "Like I'm gonna throw up and plus I feel really cold." He said groaning. You could tell by his voice he was very congested. "Well I'm here to make you feel better." You smiled at him hoping to cheer him up some. I got out all of the supplies and gave him some juice. I grabbed the extra blanket on Jeff's desk to cover him with it. He looked awful, I felt bad for him. "Get some sleep I'm staying here tonight since Jeff is gonna be with David and Trent." I told him rubbing his back. "Ok." Nick replied sleepily. A few seconds past and he was soundly asleep.
Time skip to after Nick Wakes up
Nicks pov- I woke up and saw (y/n) just coming back with some hot soup. "Here some soup." She said kissing my cheek. I loved how she really cares about me. "Thanks." My voice is still hoarse from waking up. When I was done i laid back down and cuddled into her side."how about we watch a movie I brought?" :(y/n) asked me. I nod my head eagerly wanting to do something other than being gross. She chuckled and pulled the blankets over the both of us as she had already had one of my favorite movies in the dvd player. After the long movie i stated to feel a little tired. As I drifted off back into dream land I hear her voice pull me out of it. "I need you to take some medicine for me Nicky." She said stroking my cheek with her soft, warm hands. "Ugh fine. Then can I sleep your really warm?" "Yes." She handed me the deathly disgusting liquid. I swallowed quickly not wanting to really think of the taste. (Y/n) handed me some water to wash it down. I slowly drifted away into sleep. I'm glad I had my girlfriend here to take care of me. I just hope that I won't get her sick.
