Raine & Cruella DeVil
Raine was a quiet girl, never speaking her mind to strangers, or anyone really. She had conversations with herself in her head and made up scenarios that would never happen. She preferred to live in her own little world by herself without anyone bothering her. She never gave opinions on anything and never seemed to be interested in much.
It annoyed Cruella a lot when she took Raine shopping for clothes.
Raine didn't seem to like anything. Any type of pants, shirts, blouses, dress Cruella would show her, Raine would simply shrug and stare at her feet. Cruella's eye twitched as she grabbed a hand-woven sweater that she believed would look nice on the young girl.
"What about this one?" Cruella asked as she showed Raine the cozy white sweater. Raine shrugged again.
"Okay, we're getting it. Here. Go in there and try it on, I'll find some more clothes in your size." Cruella said, yanking Raine to her feet and shoving the girl towards the dressing rooms. She slowly walked in and flinched when Cruella slammed the door behind her.
"Don't worry, darling, you'll look fabulous by the time you walk out of here."
~
Raine wasn't sure if she looked fabulous, but she did prefer the new clean clothes Cruella had brought her than the old dirty dress she had died in.
By the time Cruella had finished chosing enough clothes out for Raine, the girl had all types of shoes, shirts, sweaters, pants, pajamas, accessories, eveything a girl could possibly want. Raine didn't understand why she needed do much clothes when she was already dead, but she didn't question her. Not when she offered to pay for everything.
"And you aren't living with that hag, you'll stay with me." Cruella said as she opened the door to her car. Raine slid inside and placed the bags in the back car seat.
"But are you sure? I wouldn't want to intrude." Raine mumbled and Cruella gave a chuckle.
"Darling, it isn't an intrusion when your house is practically a mansion." Cruella smirked. Raine shifted in her seat as they approached a house- well mansion.
It looked intimidating to Raine. The house was dark and gloomy, vines grew on its side, and it was two stories high. Raine glanced at Cruella before back at the house.
"Come on darling." Cruella said as she turned her car off and walked out and towards the door. Raine grabbed her bags and quickly tried to catch up to the lady.
Cruella motioned for Raine to follow her upstairs. They stopped at the second door on the right and Cruella opened the door.
"This is yours. Decorate as you like, do as you please in the house, just don't make a mess and if you do, clean up after yourself." Raine nodded and peered into her new living space.
"Alright. Settle yourself in. I'm going into town." Cruella said and walked away from the young girl.
Without another word, Cruella left. Raine could hear the noise of her car being started, and she went to a window just to see Cruella drive away.
And she was left on her own.
~
She sat alone in her new room. Raine had already put all her clothes away and was simply sitting on her bed, waiting for Cruella to return. The young girl raked her mind for any types of memories she had. She remembered none. Her memories started when she arrived to the Underworld. She knew of nothing before. Only her name.
Raine suddenly heard the crunching of the gravel from outside and lights shining through her curtains. She figured Cruella DeVil had returned. She stood up and grabbed a blanket to wrap around her shoulders.
She walked down the wooden stairs and towards the living space.
"Miss DeVil, do we have any-"
"Ah! My darling, come join us for dinner!" Raine meekly walked into the living space. She saw two new people and suddenly wanted the ground to swallow her.
One of the males was a bulky person. With dark hair and a mischievous twinkle in his eyes. He clearly looked like someone who would break any girls heart and Raine immediatly disliked him.
Ths other one was a lean boy, probably around Raine's age. His brown hair swept without a care, and his intense green eyes made Raine blush madly. He wore a clean suit and stood next to Cruella with a raised eyebrow as he looked over the young girl.
"Ah, Raine, there you are, join us for supper, my child!" Cruella exclaimed loudly as she sashayed into the dining room. Raine was left alone with the two men and she swallowed harshly.
"She's a bit drunk." The bulky man said as he ran his hand through his hair. He went towards Raine and she had to resist stepping away.
"I'm Gaston." He introduced himself, and Raine gingerly placed her hand in his.
"I'm Raine. It's a pleasure to meet you, sir." Gaston smirked at her, and placed a kiss on her hand.
"You look familiar, have we met before?" Gaston drawled on as he checked Raine over. The man swore he had seen her somewhere in the Enchanted Forest. But he didn't push it as he watched Raine lower her head.
"And this boy is-" Before Gaston could finish introducing the other boy, Cruella burst into the room with wine glasses in her hand.
"Wine for all!" She cheered in a slurred voice. Gaston gave a laugh and followed her back into the dining room. Raine was left in an awkward silence with the boy who wouldn't let her out of his sight. She wormed under his view and she cleared her throat.
"Uh, I'm Raine." She said softly as she offered a handshake. The boy still didn't take his eyes off of her until she cleared her throat again.
He reached over and her hand, placing a single, tender kiss on the back of Raine's hand.
"I'm Pan, Peter Pan, my love." His voice had a lovely British accent laced in with it. It gave Raine chills when he spoke.
Before either could say another word, Gaston walked back into the living room.
"Dinner's ready, you two. Let's eat before it gets cold."
Peter Pan opened the door for Raine and smirked at her.
"After you, beautiful."
And Raine blushed so madly, she had to rub her cheeks in order to prevent them from catching on fire.

It's hard to write a book when you have no idea what's going on because you didn't watch the season this book takes place in.
And, if I'm being completely honest with you, my dear readers, writing about Once Upon a Time after season 3-4 is just a pain.
OUAT is just being drawled on for too long. I got pissed that they haven't gotten a happily ever after yet. Like, wtf, why the hell did Robin Hood die?! Huh? He had no need to die. I'm tired of Regina not getting a happy ending and it's the same thing over and over again. A curse. They are always cursed. It's material that is being overused.
I loved the first couple of seasons. I went back and rewatched it and thought, these episodes were the shit.
I didn't even bother to watch the latest season because only Rumple, Regina, and Hook decided to continue. Everyone else left.
Anyways this book takes part in the season where they all went to the Underworld.
I have no idea what happened in that season because I didn't completely watch it through because I got tired of it. I only know some main points.
I'm sorry for my long ramble. The only seasons I care about anymore are the first three. And from there only small bits and pieces.
Don't hate me. It's just how I feel. OUAT used to be magnificent and I have no idea what happened halfway through.
Plus Henry grew up so I got a little sad he isn't the cute chubby cheeked kid he used to be.
