About an hour later, Laken woke up with a groan, her hands rubbing her eyes sleepily. Looking over to the spot where BEN had last resided, she realized he was no where to be seen. "BEN?" She called out sleepily, hoping he was somewhere near. She heard a few tiny thumps coming down the stairs as she waited for a reply. "Onee-chan! Look at my drawing! Me and Sally were making pictures!" Laken held open her arms to her sister, her shoulder length green hair bobbing as she ran into her welcoming embrace. Taking the colorful paper in her hand, she looked down to see a picture of everyone that currently lived in the mansion, all standing in a sort of 'family photo.' "Ahh, quite the artist I see...! It's beautiful... I think if we show Slender this, he might just hang it up in the hall..." She said as she looked down into Lynne's gleaming eye, a bright green orb filled with happiness. "Lets go show him!" Lynne cheered as she laced her arms around Laken's leg. "Hey you little worm! What do you think you're doing?" She sassed playfully as she stood up, putting her hands on her hips.
"I'm taking a ride!" She giggled as she happily grinned. "Alright! Hold on tight!" She announced as she walked towards the staircase, a bouncing baby Lynne clinging onto her leg.((if you understand this reference, I love you))

They soon made it to Slenderman's office, Laken's hand reaching up to rap on the door. "Lynne wants to show you her portrait!" She called, irritated to have to see him. But she'd do it if it made Lynne happy. "Enter..." he stated blankly, the door opening as Laken and Lynne emerged from behind the oak door. Lynne let go of Laken's hand, holding her paper as she skipped over to the faceless figure's desk. One of his tendrils lifted her up and gently placed her on his lap. Out of the corner of her gaze, he looked at Laken, now noticing her uncovered neck. "Beautiful work, Lynne... I do believe this should be hung in the living room..." he stated as he noticed the loving gaze that Laken directed toward the small child.

((It might be short but this is only for me to get back into the feel of the characters... because my friend has been pestering me about updating constantly and I finally got tired of her begging... here you go trash... you know who you are...))
