I've always loved magic. Not only slight of hand magic, which I love to do and watch, but magick magic, and the wonderful creatures that go along with it. Like every little girl, I was fascinated by tales of beautiful mermaids, playful fairies, strong and bold griffins, and about anything else that comes to mind. I've always felt a connection to them I can't quite explain. But let's not get dramatic, I was a little girl obsessed with mermaids and fairies, up to the wonderful age of about 8, when that kind of thing starts to slowly be replaced by “realistic thoughts†and boys. However, the boys never really interested me as anything but friends, and these fantasies never completely left me. Fairies became a bit less interesting, and mermaids took the stage when it came to play and daydreams. I had sadly never found a mermaid show of movie I really enjoyed to be a part of my love for these creatures, so my imagination did it. Wrapping my legs in blankets, forcing dreams, when I could, to mermaids, creating a game my little sister could like featuring them, everything and anything. Then I discovered the wonderous world of the internet, and video games and youtube dragged me further and further away, those magickal thoughts dragged into the shadows in the back of my mind. However, loves and connections as strong as that can never be completely erased, and will always come back eventually.
