I learned that you never really know how much you love someone till they are gone
Growing up everyone always told me
If you really love someone
You need to let them go
So that's what I did
I let you go
Now im alone
I stepped off my throne
I'm no longer your queen
I'm just left to miss the scent of your cologne
I couldn't give you what you needed
I proceeded
To think of all the ways you could be happy
While you were fast asleep I thought of every way to keep a smile on ur face
None of my choices
Included me with you
I let you go
Even tonight the thought crosses my mind
What if I would of tried to work this out
What if I never hurt you
What if you still cared
What if we still loved
What if...
I didn't let you go
