Hooray! Another boring day of bright clothes, too many happy faces, and sweet lies to keep you company while you wait and see how this all goes down. Everyday, we have this stupid assembly to go over almost every rule in the book. The government thinks there are no ways to have a bad day. Everyday is a god damn rainbow fest! You can't walk down the street without being stopped to be told, "Where's your smile" or, "Cheer up! Today's lunch is clam chowder!" We have clam chowder every other day. If your wondering, I'm very skinny because I don't eat that shit. Last time I had food from the lunch assembly, I found a foot long hair, an earring, and what I though was to be bones. And that was all in the same plate! Ew! Just ew!
Today is different though. Right after assembly, we where told to stay inside and not look outside no matter what. Of course, being me, I looked out all day. It was boring for a while but eventually it got interesting...
Just after sunset I saw a guy dressed in dark clothes with long, black hair walking up and down my street. He looked lost. That and freaking awesome. He had dark make up around his eyes and his hair was messy. His black jeans were ripped and he had a black leather jacket. I was honestly jealous that he could wear what he wanted. I had to wear a gray skirt and a white blouse everyday.
After a couple minuets of walking around another guy showed up. He was pretty cute! He had sunglasses covering his eyes and around those was flawless skin. His hair was dark red and was almost the same style as the first dude's hair style but cleaner. He had ripped black skinny jeans which had a red bandanna hanging from one of the loop holes. He had a cut-to-show-some-muscle top on. Guess what color that was... Black! From where I was I could see he had tattoos. Both of these fine men started walking together looking around.
Later, another man appeared! He was taller than the other two and he had half his head shaved. He had dark chocolate hair and a cut black and yellow Batman shirt on. He had black ripped skinned jeans on. He was by far the best looking out of the three!
As I was admiring his looks I noticed a shadow flash by in the corner of my eye. Apparently they saw it to because they all turned to the spot where it was. They all got guns out of their pockets and kept their eyes on the spot. They slowly started moving closer to the target only to be greeted by a small cat who ran off to find another place to hide. The men relaxed and put away their fire-arms. They almost immediately turned to face my direction. I reluctantly waved. The one with glasses returned the wave with a smile but he stopped as soon as the tall one shot him a glance. They started to walk over to my window. I was on the second floor so even the tall one couldn't reach if he tried.
As soon as they got over to my building, they picked the lock on the 1st floor window and jumped in. there were a few screams from the room below me. Probably my neighbors reacting to the scary men who just broke into their house. As I started panicking on what to do, I got up and locked my door. That won't exactly help, but it will buy me some time. I tried to push my dresser over to my door, but only covered half the door. After I heard steps approaching my apartment, I ran into my closet and hid as best as I could. I could see out of the cracks in my French doors but I was still scared of what came next.
"Jessie? Jessie Kelly?" A deep voice said from the other side of my front door. How do they know my name?!?
"Please come out. We don't want to hurt you." Another voice said. Then there was another knock on the door. Is this really happening?
"We're coming in... Okay?" NO! NOT OKAY!
"Wait!" I said as I used my new found courage. All noises stopped. "What do you want?"
