I never thought I would lose someone. Someone who is so close to me. Someone who I grew up with and became a part of my life. April 6, 2016 was the day I lost my best friend, Sam. Ever since her death I blamed myself for it. I was the reason why the accident happened. I was the reason why she died. It was me. I was to blame for this. Why? Well, you just gotta listen to my story.

My name is Megan Mae Lewis and this is my story.

Mum: Megan, breakfast is ready!

Megan: I'm coming Mum!

*I ran down the stairs and into the dining room where my mum prepared breakfast for the family.*

Megan: What's for breakfast mum?
Mum: I made you your favourite. Pancakes with blueberries and whipped cream on top.

*YES!! My favourite dish for breakfast. My mum makes the best pancakes. It's one of her specialties.*

Mum: Sam called awhile ago and asked if you wanted to go shopping today and go to the cafe afterwards.
Megan: Can I?
Mum: Well I told her you're busy later doing nothing and that you don't have time to hang with her so I told her that you couldn't.
Megan: MUM??!
Mum: Honey, relax. I was kidding. I just told her that you don't like going shopping her because she picks the ugliest clothes to buy for you.
Megan: MUM!! WHY WOULD YOU SAY TH--
Mum: Meg, I was kidding again.
Megan: But the picking-the-ugliest-clothes thing, that was kinda true. She really doesn't have any fashion sense. A long oversized shirt and pair of sweatpants is her go-to outfit. I know, bad idea!
Mum: Tell me about it.
Megan: So can I go?
Mum: Sure honey.

*After finishing eating my meal, I went upstairs in to my room and laid back in my bed. I unlocked my phone and texted Sam.*

Megan: **Hey, I'm allowed to go out later. Are you coming to my house before we go?**

Samantha: **Yeah sure. So we leave for the mall and then head down to the cafe after for lunch. Does that sound okay?**

Megan: **Yeah, awesome! I'll see you later then. Bye Sammy! xx**

Samantha: **See ya bub! :)**

*I went in the bathroom and took a shower. I chose to wear my nirvana shirt and a pair of skinny jeans and my black converse to go with the outfit. I put my hair up in a messy bun and went on my phone to check my social medias.*

Mum: MEGAN! SAM'S HERE!

*I ran downstairs seeing Sam in the living room sitting on the couch waiting for me.*

Megan: Hey Sammy! Ready to go?

Samantha: Yeah sure. See you later Mrs Lewis!

Megan: Bye Mum. I'll text you later when I'm on my way home.

Mum: Alright honey. See you later girls. Be careful, okay?

Megan + Samantha: We will!

*We left the house and went inside Sam's car. We drove down the mall and started shopping around.*
