Collins Carter spent his last days with good friends and family. He was my only best friend. He was always there for me through my ups and downs. He went through too much and there was nothing I can do but be with him.

Jessica: Good morning! How are you feeling?
Collins: I'm alright, I guess.
*It was a Sunday morning. St. John's Hospital, room 228, Collins' room. I visited him there everyday. He was sick. He didn't have much time. He wasn't allowed to leave the hospital anymore so I was always there with him.*
Jessica: Have you eaten yet?
Collins: Yeah, not that long ago.
Jessica: Okay.
*I didn't have much to say to him. I hate seeing him this way. He's not like this. He never was.*
Collins: Can you tell me a story?
Jessica: Yeah, sure. What kind of story would you like to hear?
Collins: Anything. Anything you want.
Jessica: Alright. This story goes back in sophomore year. The day we went skydiving when we decided to cross off everything from our bucket list, remember that?
Collins: Yeah. You were too scared but I made you go anyway.
*He chuckled. I started telling the story.*
Jessica:

It was on a Wednesday. We decided to skip school and tried to cross out everything on our bucket list. We mixed our lists together and decided to do all of them in one day.

Jessica & Collins' Bucket List:
1. Buy a skateboard even though we don't know how to ride it
2. Go to the city for the first time
3. Eat at an expensive restaurant
4. Have kids
5. Save a life
6. Climb Mount Everest
7. Go To a Colour Run
8. Go Skydiving
9. Visit London
10. Have first kiss

So out of all ten, we only chose to do the ones that we can achieve for that day. So having kids, climb Mount Everest, visit London, save someone's life, and have our first kiss was out. Expensive restaurant was out too because we couldn't afford it back then. So we only had 4 things left to do:

1. Buy a skateboard
2. Go to the city
3. Go to a colour run
4. Go skydiving

We started our day by going to the city. That was a memorable day for us. The very first time seeing the city and everything there. So we drove down there and we were there. Light City. For the very first time, we saw the city. We went everywhere. We then bought our skateboards there. We drove down to an empty car park and tried riding them but it was a fail although you did a pretty good job riding it Collins. You're a fast learner. We went on to a colour run which was fun and then went on to do the very last thing on our list, skydiving. It wasn't a choice made by me to go skydiving. I was too scared back then. I was afraid of heights and was scared that I would die if something bad happened but you persuaded me, so I went. I don't remember how far up we were but it was pretty high. The thing is though, when we jumped off the helicopter it wasn't actually that bad. I could only hear myself screaming and screaming and the guy with me was just laughing at me. It wasn't funny! I was too scared. After we finished everything, we went home and we got in trouble. Well, I did. The school called my mum so I was grounded for like a week but it was definitely worth it.

Collins: That was a good day. One of the best. Tell me another one.
Jessica: Umm, okay. I got one!

The very first party (not a kid's party) we went to was Rosie's birthday. It was during freshman year. She had drinks and we never had any before so we tried it. It didn't taste very nice but you wanted for us to fit in with all of the popular people so you decided that we should act drunk and cool. Worst decision you ever made and my worst decision was agreeing to it. So you know how it went. We went all drunk, like super drunk. We had a great time and people were loving us so I guess that was a good thing during the party. The not-so-great part of the story was when this Jack Trooper threw up on me. He was dancing with me and I thought he was giving me a hug but you know, instead of that he threw up on me. So that didn't go so well and it didn't go so good for you as well Collins. You were trying to flirt on Rosie and she rejected you when you said hi. She was drunk but I think she knew what she was doing. Not trying to offend you or anything. So Rosie's party was a fail and we decided to go out somewhere instead. You brought me to this cliff that overlooked that city. We listened to some music and we were just looking up at the stars the whole night lying down on top of the trunk of your car. It was a wonderful night and it made my day.
