Chapter seven.

Russel laughed. Though, It wasn't a faux nor nervous laugh. "Say it again!" He cackled in his bedroom alone, talking to nothing but the chipped, painted wall in front of him. He continued to laugh and clap his hands, then paced outside the hallway, then back in his room laughing. Only the little Noodle witnessed it from afar. He shut the door and turned to the empty wall behind him.

"Dang, if only my friends can hear your dumb jokes." He chuckled, chirped his head up and looked around. "Will see you again Del." He stood up, left the room but stopped. He went in and all his friends came back. "Another round three of dissing? Eddie and Antoine versus Russel and Del. Ain't no better team than us!"

A door creaked open behind him, revealing the concerned bassist. Behind him was little Noodle, who was frightened. She was seen clutching against Murdoc's long legs. "Hey-uh, Russ? Am I bothering you?" He asked.

Russel turned and shook his head. "No, why?"
"It's nothing." Murdoc nervously chuckled, then brought Noodle to stand in front of him. "Mind watching little princess for me? I have to get El Diablo fixed in the store." Noodle was seen shaken, still grasping into Murdoc's legs.

"Sure! I always look after baby girl!"  Russel smiled, but it didn't make her any better. "Right, and I have to get groceries too. Anything you want?"

"Them crumpets or some shit, I don't know. It's my new fave."

"Err, right."

Noodle pulled Murdoc out of the room and whispered if she could come grocery shopping with him. He crouched to her level and turned to her saying, "No luv, it will take a while."

She understood, yet she frowned. Murdoc rubbed her back. "I know Russel been out with his mind, but yer going to have to deal wit it, luv."

She began to tear up, making Murdoc giving her a hug. "Oh don't cry, luv!" He continued to rub her back. "Ye can play with Mikey the Monkey while Dee and I are gone." She sniffed and then nodded.

"Alright, just be a good princess and I'll get yer the sweets you want. Especially Malteasers." She smiled, glancing to Murdoc with her twinkling eyes.

"Okay. I'll see you later. Just be strong for Murdoc." He grinned, stood up tall and pat Noodle on the head.

Noodle fidgeted as she watched Murdoc and 2D drove off from the car park. She went back to where Russel was and poked her head out and see what he was up to. Russel was fast asleep. She became calm as he was being himself. She watched him snoring peacefully as she rest her head on the bed of the bed. She yawned, then putting herself into sleep.
