I quickly composed myself and greeted him,
"Hi"
"Hey are you Gracie? Jezza's cousin?"
"Yeah I am, and you're Harry right?" I replied smiling,
"Sure am gorgeous," he said winking, my face fell a little.
Wow he was a bit cocky, I hate that. I was secretly hoping Jez was wrong about him so we could fall in love, get married and have adorable babies together, but alas.
"Okay well come in, you're the first one here so you should know it's not an absolute rager as of yet," I laughed, if we weren't going to be star crossed lovers maybe we could be friends,
He laughed walking inside, "Good thing I didn't get my hopes up then,"
Jez came over to greet him,
"Hazza!" he yelled giving him a bear hug,
"Jezza!" Harry yelled back while hugging him, naw cute.
I went to go help Cathy and mum set up the afternoon tea in the living room which had been cleared so that there was only a small table in the middle of the room that held the food, and various chairs scattered around it. One of the walls of the living room that was glass, opened up to reveal the inside swimming pool so there were more chairs next to the pool as well.
After we had finished setting up I walked into the pool area to find Charlie, Ben, Jeremy and Harry topless having a cannonball contest.
I found my mouth fall open as I stared at Harry's tanned torso that looked like it had been sculpted by angels.
He soon noticed my staring and yelled, "Like what you see sweetheart?" with a smirk on his face.
I could have died of embarrassment right then and there but I managed to compose myself and replied,
"Oh yes, the architecture of the pool is stunning don't you think?" with a smile on my face before I turned and quickly walked back into the living room, I could hear roars of laughter from Jeremy as I smiled to myself.
The rest of Harry's family arrived and seemed a lot more down to earth than him, his mother Anne and stepdad Robin were extremely sweet and hit it off with my parents straight away. Harry's older sister Gemma was really nice and she started telling me about her life at University which I soon learned was very interesting. Ellen came to sit with us and jumped on Gemma's lap,
"Hey Els!" she said smiling,
"Hey Gem, do you two wanna come in the pool with me?" she asked,
"Sure Smellen, you coming Gemma?" I asked looking up at her,
"No thanks I think I'll just stay dry." she laughed,
"Okay let's get changed Smells," I said pulling her up the stairs.
I was really eager to wear my new bikini, it was an aqua coloured bandeau top with white spots, it also had a frill along the top and the bottoms were the same (here - http://aussie1direction.tumblr.com/bathers). I had been looking forward to wearing it this summer but sadly my summer had turned into winter.
-Harry's POV-
What I thought would be a boring afternoon tea had turned out to be pretty fun. We were in Jezza's inside pool making an absolute mess, there was water everywhere, and even though Charlie and Ben were young they were such a laugh. Not forgetting Jez’s cousin Gracie though, man she was hot, she didn’t seem to have fallen head over heels for me yet so I’m guessing she didn’t know about One Direction; this would be fun. She would have to fall for me sooner or later wouldn’t she? Although come to think of it she hadn’t shown any signs of being head over heels for me, she totally caught me out before at the pool though, that was meant to reel her in but instead she totally showed me up! I don’t think I’ve come across any girl or woman who hasn’t expressed any interest in me so this was strange, I wasn't used to it. Just as I was thinking about how strange Gracie's behaviour was she walked through the doors to the pool with Ellen. My jaw dropped. She was wearing a cute bikini that showed off her curves perfectly; she has possibly the best body I've ever seen. Her long, wavy blonde hair reached down to her belly button and it looked so beautiful and shiny I wanted to reach out and touch it; hmm I've only ever heard people say that about my hair.
Obviously she noticed my staring and mimicked me from earlier, "like what you see sweetheart?"
What a cheeky little minx!
"Yeah! Ellen you look hot babe!" I replied with a cheeky grin, dimples on full show.
"Shutup Harry!" Ellen laughed with a wave of her hand.
