Mat's P.O.V
Rob tugs on my red bow tie as I take a deep breath and look at the clock. I swear ten minutes has just passed in the time of 10 seconds!
"You nearly ready?", Preston pops his head through the door. Taking another deep breath I shake my head, "I don't think I'll ever be ready". He chuckles and walks out of the room shouting behind him, "Ten minutes guys!".
"You will be absolutely fine dude", Rob reassures me and I nod in agreement whilst sitting on a love seat in the middle of the large room with oak wood floors and gold floral pattern up the walls. There is a fire place against a wall and a window opposite. I tap my fingers on my leg impatiently and wonder if my parents are here, I invited them but they didn't seem to keen on it. I wonder what Mitch is doing right now whether he is the same as me and if Jerome is reassuring him like Rob is me. Or if he is trying to figure out how to get out of this because he doesn't love me anymore. My breathe catches in my throat at the thought and I start hyperventilating.
Ten more minutes pass like ten seconds and it is time to go... to go get married.
I stand at the door to the large hall and can hear murmurs of people through the door. Suddenly someone pulls open the door and I quickly take in the rows of seats filled with people. My eyes scower the crowd until they come to settle on Mitch. Everything around me swirls and blurs until the only thing in focus is the love of my life. His hair is brushed neatly and spiked up, complimenting his black suit with red bow tie perfectly. He is wringing his hands out proving that he is nervous though the smirk on his face says otherwise.
I take a small step forwards refraining from running into his arms. Rob comes up beside me and links his arm through mine replacing the role of my dad, who doesn't seem to be here. Slowly I make my way down the aisle noticing people as I pass. All friends and family, I notice my cousins sat with great grins on their faces. As I get closer to the front I see people I am a lot closer too. Adam with Charlie on his shoulders so he can see me. Mitch's family in the front row with Kayleigh now ready to pop on the end. On the other side is not my family but people I sometimes consider more important than them, Preston, Lachlan, Noah, Vikk and Zak, someone I didn't expect to turn up. I take a step up to the alter as I reach the front.
"We are here today to celebrate the love between these two young men, Mitchell Hughes and Mathew Nucciarone", the vicor announces, "We will now procede with the vows". He nods to Mitch, who takes a deep breathe, "I want you to know that no matter how much you may grow to hate me that my love for will always be there and we always say, 'I love you to the moon and back', but that isn't true. I love you to the end of time and the universe itself... and back again. As you know I live by the concept, Live to love and you will love to live, and I have the best life anyone could ever ask for because of you. That is why I pledge to spend the rest of my life with you".
My eyes get watery as he finishes leaving me to recite my vows, "Mitch, Mitchell, Mitchy, I have never been the sort of guy who can tell someone just how they feel. I never had hope and I still don't but, 'Who needs hope when I have you?'. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I love you, I just hope that you love me back"
My vows are a lot shorter and more simple than Mitch's but I am happy with them. "Do you Mitchell Donal Ralph Hughes take Mathew Nucciarone to be your lawfully wedded husband?", the vicor asks, "I do".
"Do you Mathew Nucciarone take Mitchell Donald Ralph Hughes to be your lawfully wedded husband?", I take a deep breathe and nod but then remember I have to say I do. I chuckle, "I do".
Before the vicor can even say anything, Mitch crashes his lips against mine and I instantly react, moving my lips in sync with his. I love this guys so much!
After the ceremony we headed to the party venue and started to turn up! Then came the time for our first dance, Adam was going to sing it to make it that little bit more special. Mitch and I head on to the dance floor and I wrap my arms around his neck and put my head into his chest whil he wraps his arms around my waist.
