Mutant Zombie Apocalypse

~Chapter Five~

I glance at the still unconscious girl. She seemed overwhelmed and to have low energy.

"That is Shado." The one in the purple mask says after noticing my odd glances to her.

I nod and look around a little. It was dangerous to go outside again so Donnie and the orange masked turtle called Mikey took me and the girl called Shado to a nearby building. We all decided to path it up. I haven't spoken a word yet.

"We thank you. You saved us and without you I think we all might have turned." Donnie seems to be wanting to coversate.

I look down not wanting to talk. Right after the girl wakes up I am out of here and gone.

"Do you think we should just go Don? I can take Shado and we can say we failed to bring gas." Mikey asks. Donnie shakes his head in disaproval.

"We are not even prepared. We will balley make it without Shado and her abilities. Holding her will slow you down and we would go down for sure."

Don looks at me like he is trying to figure me out.
"Would you be willing to survive with our group. I'm sure my older brother wouldn't mind."

I just look at him with a face. I shake my head no.

The purple masked turtle sighed and looked down.

"Just saying. If you did we could probably leave earlier. With your abilities we have more of a chance."

I still do not answer. I am no longer so sure anymore. I do not have any idea what and how to feel anymore. Sad isn't it? It is sad to see your mom get eaten right in front of you, and it is not fair to have to kill your little brother so he wouldn't eat you and make you yourself turn.

Great... I am talking about myself in third person.

I look at the turtle creatures once more, but that is not what got me to join the group, It was the unconscious girl who will later on be one great friend to me. The hope of living.

I nod a little and look at the turtles Donnie and Mikey with a confident grin.

Confident; this is what I am not. I am terrified, But I am confident that I will die if I stay here all by myself.

My thoughts soon fade to silence when I get interrupted by a flesh eating zombie breaking the wall that once secured us four.

"Screw it! You, You agreed to be in our group, you are in starting by covering Mikey and Shado from those infected. Mikey. You take Shado and run back to the others, me and bear girl hear will fight!" I shift to my bear form and smack the infected away, building a clear path for Mikey and the unconscious girl to follow upon.
